Maybe he should take singing lessons,
Wtf is he talking about?
Obviously he and his crew can get the food he wants.
He seems to be saying he is boycotting any city where people eat food from big farms?
I GUARANTEE you this rich fraud eats junk food.
He can make the electricity clean? Just how do you do that at a massive stadium?
Fing rich idiot.
I remember when he took me for a ride in one of his electric cars while on the coast. Preached loud and proud about how unsafe I was, my cars/boat, America, etc etc ...
About a month later, one of his electric cars caught fire while charging and burnt his house to the ground - without insurance.
I saw Neil Young in about 2006. I was disappointed and wouldn’t see him again. I think I am not alone in this sentiment.
Neil has a couple of good songs, but his music is mostly pretty boring. He made a decent run early on with a hippie image but he ain’t good enough to be talking smack and setting rules. Just play and shut up, you ain’t all that.
Long May You Run was about some friend he knew in Northern Ontario who he lost track of and later heard he had died. At least that is how he explained it in some concert I saw on tv I think. I suppose it might work for a car as well. He was a very hit and miss type of artist IMHO. Some great stuff and some awful. His whingey leftism is of course typical of the entertainment fraternity which I no longer patronize.
At the time Neil was mad with Rogan because he actually started conversations that questioned the Covid narratives of the day. You know questions about HCQ, Ivermectin, Remdisavir, vaccines ect... Normal questions any free press would be asking, but not the American mainstream.
He doesn’t like the hippy squalor the left haw wrougth.
I’m a huge NY fan, even though pretty much everything he did in the 1980s’ and 2000’s has been crap. I paid a bunch on money to take my wife to see him live about ten years ago. The worst concert I’ve ever seen. The lowlight was about half an hour of ear-splitting feedback. I loudly booed him at the end and he hard me, yelling that “some people just don’t get it.” He doesn’t give a sh*t about his audience. I wouldn’t ever pay to see him again.
What a hypocrite with all those gas-burning cars!
“Long May You Run” is a great song. I may be one of the few Freepers who has been to Blind River (Ontario) … but it was long after 1962!
The album's advance single, "Long May You Run", peaked at #71 on the UK singles chart. The song was an elegy for Neil Young's first car (which he nicknamed "Mort"), a 1948 Buick Roadmaster hearse that died in 1962 when its transmission blew in Blind River, Ontario.
Kind of hard to see how it would be anything other than a car, based on some of those lyrics … “But we missed that shift on the long decline” … “With your chrome heart shining” … etc.
Maybe my memory is faulty but that is what I recall or maybe it was just a story that came before he sang that song.
A boring folk rock singer. The best thing he ever did was being on the Woodstock song with Crosby, Stills, and Nash.
Neil Young looks to have not taken a shower in a long long time.
Like many men in their later years Young has developed a severe case of POMS; Pissy Old Man Syndrome.
I hope I don’t end up with it but you never know.
