Pence is doing what he is being told to do by the RNC and establishment. He’s a weak-kneed man with an even weaker personal constitution.
What a disgraceful bag of dog turds Pence has turned out to be. And as I read here on FR during my lurking days, “You cannot wash the sh!t off a turd, or pick it up by the clean end either.”

I recall watching Trump at the White House that year of 2020, celebrating Independence Day on camera for the world. Big party, fireworks, band. He introduced the Pences, “Mike Pence, what a help he’s been and Mrs Pence, Karen, welcome, you’re so appreciated” some such
Karen Pence spit on the ground (ok she wanted to) having to interact with Trump. Frumpy, angry, indignant. I cannot believe my precious wimpy do everything I tell you to do…NOW, husband has to deal with you”
Pence has this story wrong the danger was from his wife toward Trump.
