Hard for me to believe that shooting was justified. I just don’t see Nelson being a threat to that deputy. I think the deputy may have panicked.
And, I believe the deputy used a rifle, indicating that he wasn’t close to Nelson. Makes you think, “Hmmm”.
It’ll be interesting what the investigation reveals.
