One month before the mayor’s election involving one white candidate versus one black candidate.
Can’t be a coincidence.
Buddy? can you please roll that beautiful bean footage…. - Bush’s been commercial circa 1995
Well, this appears to be Hispanics vs. Blacks but yeah.....can’t be long before Whitey and Trump are blamed for the whole mess.
I think this is good news for Caruso as he has the support of a major Latino organization and his opponent is black. So anything that widens the brown/black divide is prolly good for him.
The LA Times came out and said Caruso was the only guy with
a real plan for Los Angeles the other day.
I nearly passed out. LOL
Someone compared him to Riordan, and I think that could
turn out to be the way he shakes out.
Let us all wish them well in their internal relationships, as we would wish well a bus full of 50% shia and 50% sunni.
Exactly. Need it to go national.
Hispanics work, have strong families, are pro life. They’re natural republicans. We need to get them as candidates and recruit.
Break up the Dem hold on Hispanics and watch how quick a wall will be built.
You could be right.
Ahhh, the joys of diversity and multiculturalism... and so much vibrancy!
I’m rathe fond of this poem by Kipling - “The Stranger”. I think it resonates with most people regardless of their “kind”.
THE STRANGER
The Stranger within my gate,
He may be true or kind,
But he does not talk my talk—
I cannot feel his mind.
I see the face and the eyes and the mouth,
But not the soul behind.
The men of my own stock,
They may do ill or well,
But they tell the lies I am wanted to,
They are used to the lies I tell;
And we do not need interpreters
When we go to buy or sell.
The Stranger within my gates,
He may be evil or good,
But I cannot tell what powers control—
What reasons sway his mood;
Nor when the Gods of his far-off land
Shall repossess his blood.
The men of my own stock,
Bitter bad they may be,
But, at least, they hear the things I hear,
And see the things I see;
And whatever I think of them and their likes
They think of the likes of me.
This was my father’s belief
And this is also mine:
Let the corn be all one sheaf—
And the grapes be all one vine,
Ere our children’s teeth are set on edge
By bitter bread and wine.
A little RealPolitic gets the media all in a frenzy. In a race between Hispanics and blacks, I’ll support Hispanics every time, because the enemy of my enemy is my friend.
Again LA has always been a mess for all of my 67 yrs
Joey lugnuts already injected himself into the issue
Don’t worry, the media will turn her into a ‘white hispanic’ in no time.
They’ll discover she’s from the Back Bay of Boston, went to Choate Academy, and is descended directly from John Winthrop
LA has been a ‘hot mess’ for a decade or two now. We haven’t had a decent mayor in how long now?
Blacks don't like it when white heterosexuals adopt black kids, but it's another degree of hate when white gays adopt black kids.
Biden calls for resignation of L.A. city council members over racist remarks
Divide and conquer. We need hispanic to mass exodus from the Dem party.
Is L.A. on fire, yet?
This is the way government works under “progressive” leadership.
