They need to finish the deed on the standing span and railway, and in several different places.

You are the puppet here for Putin? The bridge has one span open for highway traffic but the other will be very difficutl to repair. The rail bridge took significant fire damage and may or may not be safe. But keep up your good work for your hero Adolf Putin, I guess someone needs to do it.

Is this a first? A sophisticated military power intentionally targeting a spectrum of infrastructure of an adversary nation simultaneous with targeting command and control? All in one day?

We weren’t THAT comprehensive in Iraq even during “shock and awe”, were we? Where is there another example at similar scale within the relatively recent time frame when these kinds of precision attacks have been feasible?

I do believe unless corrected, that we are seeing something novel.

Have you always been a Russian puppet or just like to kiss Putin’s ass?

No, not a Putin supporter nor Ukraine supporter. ...... The train rail was up and running quickly as just a matter of lifting them back on track. The roadway was open to cars and trucks soon after.

Look you might not like how this conflict goes but conflicts are very much fluid.....Zelensky did NOT successfully destroy the bridge ....traffic was up.....however this attack on Kyvi's bridge did take a large section completely out....as well as many other bridges targeted.

You really need to stop calling anyone who disagrees with you a Putin Puppet - we all know those who resort to that have their backs up against a wall with nothing to debate or show otherwise. Just makes you look like a fool.

What part of Mexico did the United States annex during that expedition?

After Guadalupe Hidalgo in 1848 and Gadsden in 1853, we didn't need any more.

I don't care for either Putin or Zelensky. I don't feel we have a dog in this fight. I was just reporting facts. If you don't like it, too bad. I presume you're a jocksniffing supporter of the guitar player?

Actually not. I thought about why Russia didn't do this from the start but then stated by Putin this was a targeted mission event - had he thought otherwise we can see now he could have taken it out from the beginning but chose not to.

What we do know is throughout this conflict Zelensky has wanted NATO'S direct involvement more than they've been willing to give - an outright war with Russia. They will not give that to Zelensky as they know well what that would mean. Zelensky doesn't care - his mindset is completely on riling up the world to go after Russia as we've seen and heard him do time and time again.

Unfortunately Zelensky’s willing to see death and destruction throughout Ukraine to get what HE wants and is paid to get. NATO membership then they have to fight for Ukraine. Which is why he refuses to negotiate over and over again......and I believe he will see every Ukraine , soldier and citizen, laying in the street to obtain his goal.

Frankly Zelensky is why this conflict began and why it will continue.

Is there any evidence yet as to who blew up the bridge? Putin says the Ukrainians did it but the Ukrainians have not claimed credit. The Ukrainians stood to benefit from the destruction (the Romans had a principle: cui bono? [who benefits?]) but someone advanced the hypothesis that Russian enemies of Putin could have been behind it. It serves Putin as a pretext for terror-bombing of Ukrainian citizens, but he was already doing that.

Here is short animation with pictures of the damage. There is some damage to the roadway that didn’t collapse(roadbed bent down). Also zoom in to the train pier cap around 1:50 to 2:00. There appears to be significant heat damage to the outside pier, cap, and beam.
