I do not think that they would have put President Trump back there in the first place.

Joe needs to sit near the exits because he walks slow and near bathrooms.

BS

Maybe you're right. I cannot imagine that anyone planning the funeral thought for one moment that someone would honestly complain about where they were seated. It's supposed to be about Elizabeth, not Trump or Biden,

The seating is what it is, as a guest you sit where told or don’t bother going.

Where would they have put him?

Thanks for your comments.

Lots of woulda / coulda / shoulda on the thread from others. Also known as “Waaaah!”

This is a fairly stupid thing to say. The seating might, or might not have been different. However, he’d have sat where they told him to sit, and would have done so graciously.

However, if he was President, and they sat him so far back, every single pundit on the planet would be calling it a deliberate slap to the face, unlike the way most are covering for pedo joe.

There is still a memorial ceremony for Queen Elizabeth and sponsored by the UK government which is scheduled for the near future at the National Cathedral. All the former Presidents have been invited. I assume his seating will be better for that one.

When did Poland become a member of the commonwealth? The polish delegation was in the row in front of Biden.

She's the current sitting Prime Minister, or had you not heard?

I was probably the first to start a thread on Liz Truss here, long before she became Prime Minister
Liz Truss is the Prime Minister of Great Britain, the country where the Queen comes from and one of the G7 countries.
Don't compare her to some head of state of some random Commonwealth country in Africa or the Caribbean.

She and senior members of her cabinet, senior members of the opposition, leadership from the House of Lords, senior members of the government, all would expect to be seated before foreigners.

Why? Government ministers and opposition leaders who are not even in the government, don't come ahead of the President of the United States.

nd the foreigners would expect to be seated after the heads of the Commonwealth countries.

The head of state of Jamaica and Uganda are ahead of the President of the most powerful country on the planet?
How many Ugandan heads of state has Queen Elizabeth ever met? As compared to the 14 US Presidents The Queen has met?
How many times has the Queen visited Uganda for example?
As compared to the countless numbers of times the Queen as visited America? Who supplied Britain with their Trident submarines? Or umped billions of dollars into Britain after WWII in Marshal Aid? How many Commonwealth countries did any of that?
Being a Commonwealth head of state doesn't really count for much.

He wouldn’t have to, he would have been seated closer and he would have arrived on time.

You should take your own advice. They CHOOSE based on power, and who they want to curry favor with. Trump had considerably more power as President, than Biteme ever would.

That’s funny..

Thank you! For those claiming that Trump is saying this to pleasure his own ego - your hate blinds you. As is his custom, President Trump is pushing forward the idea of American greatness. And yes, the seating chart matters. Just like in real estate, there's a quantifiable measure of greatness. And by this measure, Biden's failure is clear. That is Trump's message. We're not (sitting) where we want to be.

Jeez, I just hate having to cringe when Former President Trump chooses to be a fool. It has happened too frequently for the past seven years.

(Yes, I'll vote for the man if he gets the GOP nod, but I'll respectfully oppose him in the primaries.)

I understand there would be protocols, but why was he put behind Poland? They’re not “commonwealth” nations.

It may have been alphabetical "P" before "U". My guess anyway.

Or that they placed him closest to the washroom. Those good English manners and all that, what?
