My observation is that many media “personalities” are like children who enjoy getting attention by saying or doing “shocking” things. They say dumb, inflammatory or obscene things not because they believe them, but because of the shock it provokes. It makes them feel powerful and important. Then there are the personalities, like those on “The View” who say stunningly stupid things, not for shock but because they are stunningly stupid. My take on all of them is, if they do this just once I will never give them another moment of my time.

I don’t bother with what the Queen’s politics are or were.
What I saw was she was like my mother, who’s parents came from Scotland and Ireland and she was raised with like manners of the Queen. Polite, soft spoken, held her tongue on whatever her opinions were in lieu of an impolite response. She worked diligently for her country and gave her all. That is what I saw in her and it reminded me of my own mother who died recently and tried to instill in me the manners she herself always demonstrated.
