Who can forget the illegal alien, “wise latina immigration lawyers” making goo goo eyes at the “immigration judges” to get their clients a free shot at the Big Piñata. Immigration courts are a joke run but illegal aliens and their “advocates”.

These govt people are bald-faced liars.

The feds themselves have called this con a major unprecedented “wealth transfer” from one group of Americans over to another.

Precisely because only one group of Americans are going to be saddled with repayment of these debts. The taxpayers. The feds even said how much more taxes would be necessary to cover the forgiveness, something like two thousand dollars per capita.

Biden is spending like a drunken sailor.

Drunken sailors eventually stop when they run out of money because they cannot print it.....................

Pells aren’t loans; they’re grants. A loan means the money is gone, the debit is done. The reduction in the asset, or account receivable, or credit, is now gone, too. Net worth is then down. Period.

It will cost the US one trillion because of a number of factors Biden’s new plan involves: not just the initial $10-20K forgiveness for 44 million people, but also new plans to not charge interest going forward (if making minimal payments) and to write off loans after 10 years of 5% of discretionary income instead of after 20 years of 10% of discretionary income. And even “discretionary” will be defined generously.

Basically student loans going forward will not really be “loans” as they are currently defined. Payments toward them will be for a brief time and minimal. Token payments really. And then the rest all written off. This is what will cost 1 trillion.

Unless this is stopped in court. None of this went through Congress. But I haven’t seen any lawsuits filed yet. . .

The deficit is the difference between income and expenditures. To say you are reducing the deficit means you are not taking out as big a loan as last year. Big deal. You are still accumulating debt and not paying any of the existing debt off. So, the student loan scam adds to the debt. It is not paid off by reduced deficit.

Yep, hopefully there is some good coordination going on new with some great experts so this is a slam dunk lawsuit.

Bernstein disputed a University of Pennsylvania Wharton model that she cited, which predicted that student loan forgiveness will cost over $1 trillion, claiming the cost will be closer to $24 billion.

Twenty-four billion, one trillion, what's the difference to these bozos?! It's disgusting.

He is arguing apples against oranges.

The ‘deficit’ has nothing to do with student loans being forgiven..........

Its hilarious listening to these prevaricating bozos talk about all of this wonderful ‘deficit reduction’ they’re achieving as they pass trillions of dollars in new spending.

Take the 500b and fix the global supply chain and get Keystone on line. In one year that 500b will pay for itself.

“Good on Martha, making amends for her election day screw up.

Sorry, not just Election Day. Martha was part of the effort to elect Biden by her snarky and condescending reporting on Trump for a long time. In a worst case example, she cohosted, with Bret. Baier, the “Town Hall” with Trump just before the 2020 election. Broadcast from the Lincoln Memorial, it was virtual which allowed Bauer and McCallum to preselect and order every video from the many submitted. In two hours, there were two neutral questions and one pro-Trump. All the rest were anti-Trump, anti-conservative diatribes. It was disgusting.

Pell grants are given to all low income students, I should know I received them when I was in college, they are not paid back ever.
