When I took $100,000 in student loans I didn't know it would affect my kids' lives. Forgiveness will let me save for their future.

Collect your refund from the college that took the money. They have plenty of endowment money.

DON’T EXPECT OTHERS TO PAY OFF YOUR LOAN WHEN THEY EITHER PAID THEIRS OR NEVER TOOK OUT A COLLEGE LOAN.

This “forgiveness” is flagrantly illegal, unconstitutional and communist.

I paid off my loans in 2016. Guess I would’ve waited until 2022.

Totally with Pompeo on this! The consumer borrowing from the provider? What is wrong with that?
We have $280B in Student loans and Universities have $250B in endowments. They should work something out and leave the middleman (taxpayer) out!

How does this woman remain employed? Her stupidity would seem to make her a liability rather than an asset to any organization.

This is literally life-changing.

So wait, $10,000 off his $100,000 student loan debt is life changing?

Lol. No dumbass, learning a skill with a ROI would be life changing.

Oh yes.

They say that if they are going to school full time they will have no time to work and they have expenses.

As I did it on grants, full time work and a small loan I will say that my heart does not exactly bleed for them.

But then I was after a piece of paper that would get me a good job rather then the collage experience.

For those who say it can not be done now days, I have two nieces who did it. When the youngest graduated last year the family got together and paid off her loan for a graduation present. It was all of $3000. She had to get the loan because WuFlu took her job away.

The collage experience is for people with rich parents.

“I graduated from an expensive private college 12 years ago, and I still pay hundreds of dollars each month in student loans. “

I thought student-load repayments were and still on pause. And while $10,000 is a lot of money, there is no way that it is a ‘life-changing’ amount. And Kelly, since you took out the loan, don’t you think you should have to repay it? Why should someone else? That money isn’t coming out of the Big Guy’s stash, it’s coming out of everyone’s taxes.

I had no idea that kids could get the college loan for anything. Both our children worked their way through college(no loans). We were able to help our daughter out some while she was studying for her Masters.

This makes me feel like a bit of sucker for having worked my way through college to graduate debt-free. These people should have their diplomas invalidated for the exchange.

This person has $10,000 deducted off the $100,000 they owe.
Now it is $90,000
They will not pay that off and the interest on the debt will increase and the amount owed will soon again be $100,000 and climbing.

#10 Buy the “SnagIt” program that you can use to get text off of images.
Easier to post text then images everywhere : )

Great capture program for images and video and text. $50 bucks.
You will not have to update so one time cost. Version 2018 works in Windows 7 and later versions on 10/11. Try the free trial version first.
https://www.techsmith.com/screen-capture.html

I set my keystrokes to ctrl, shift, t button by going to Capture on the toolbar then All-In-One and select ‘All in one’ and turn on ‘Preview in Editor’. Click on Presets in lower left and select your keys for “Grab text” then next to the gear icon on the right you use the keys you want keystrokes such as ctrl, shift, t button.

For screen capture you can by default use the Print Screen key and select image or video.

This brings up a crosshair (Capture> File> Capture preferences) that you then hold the left button down and drag around the text, let go and a window shows up and you copy all.

Also to delete captures you go to Library then select the images and **Important, you right click and select “Remove from Library”. If you delete it will delete your saved images. Many complaints about it at their support forum.

I suggest getting the free “NoteTab” so you can paste in there and go to Modify> Lines and Text cases

Forgiveness will let me save for their future and show my kids of how much of a dead beat I am.
So much for fatherhood no wonder so many people are screwed up.
