reentering rockets use gravity. I just don’t see a missile gaining that sort of gravity boost in the short time it needs to be effective.

The fuel requirements are enormous.

You did a lot yourself.

With missiles, think of the use or purpose, like with personal transportation: bicycles, scooters, mopeds, motorcycles, automobiles (small to large), pickups, large trucks, semi trucks, buses, each has a purpose some interchangeability, mostly not interchangeable, so it is with missiles.

When you can distinguish the areas, you can place the tech where it belongs.

First Aggie Rule of Engineering - there is no free lunch.

Gravity only works pulling the missile down because a rocked pushed it up.

By the same rule, the bigger something is the harder you have to push. The size of the rocket is proportional to the payload. Also the size of a rocket to get someething to Mach 8 requires 1/9th the amount of fuel to get the same mass in order using the rocket equation.

Yeah. Thanks. Right. A machine gun vs. a shotgun. A hammer vs a wrench. Every tool has its place.

Could there be a way to project sound waves to them up?

Yes, but that sound would not have enough energy to cause damage or disrupt operation.

The Pressure waves (sound waves) that have enough energy to do so are generated within the Pulse Jet engine, immediately in front of it and immediately behind it.

The pressure waves that affect a vehicle in atmosphere are immediately in front of it, along side of it and immediately behind the vehicle.

The technologies in this area are included in the principles of Fluid Dynamics.

How is that talk of NATO expansion into Finland and Sweden working out?

Meanwhile, while hypersonic missiles are being aimed at her country, Finland's PM Sanna Marin likes to party all the time and dance the night away.

“An aircraft carrier can defend itself against most attacks except against a hypersonic attack.”

In general an aircraft carrier is not supposed to defend itself. That’s the job of its escorts.

And target acquisition for a missile that’s making Mach 10 is going to be really interesting and complex. Pardon me if I don’t believe the Russians are able to pull this off. More likely they’d need something in the area of the carrier to provide targeting data to the missile.

And whatever that is it won’t be able to evade the carrier escorts and etc.

“How is that talk of NATO expansion into Finland and Sweden working out?”

Pretty damned good considering that eight months ago it wasn’t even a thought. Thanks to Putin and his stronk idea of sending nuclear armed aircraft into Swedish airspace it is.

“Meanwhile, while hypersonic missiles are being aimed at her country, Finland’s PM Sanna Marin likes to party all the time and dance the night away.”

NATO forces have been stationed in Finland for a few months now. If Russia is derganaya enough to fire off some missiles at Finland then they can expect some incoming mail in reply.

All so Pidor Putin can steal oil and gas from Ukraine.

“In general an aircraft carrier is not supposed to defend itself. That’s the job of its escorts.”

I should have said aircraft battle group. I worked on some of the systems that allow the battle group to share situational data. As for targeting at Mach 10, it almost certainly will include satellite systems. At the start of the war most of the low orbiters will be taken out as their orbits are well known. The Chinese are putting systems at the LaGrange point between the Earth and the moon, which is, as far as I know, well beyond our satellite killer systems. The Chinese claim those satellites have the same resolution as the ones in lower orbits, which I doubt, but they got the technology from Loral during the Clinton presidency. Bernard Leon Schwartz who controlled Loral was the most frequent visitor to the Lincoln Bedroom during the Clinton presidency and Clinton signed off on giving it to them when they were launching our spy satellites. We were all friends then and there was never again going to be a war...globalization you know...

And, if Russian access to the Baltic Sea is anyway inhibited by Finland or Estonia, what do you think will happened? Russia will crush those nations like cockroaches. Or is your best case scenario a hot war with Russia?

Stop pretending like NATO and we aren't the ones, both in Ukraine and now in Finland, aren't the ones taking provocative and aggressive actions toward the Russians. That has been an incredibly stupid course of action and has pushed the Russians into an alliance with China.

But, your seething hatred of Russia blinds you to that reality. You and your ilk have Russian Derangement Syndrome that is as delusional as TDS.

1. We renamed the Baltic Sea. It’s now called “Lake NATO” and just like how Russia arbitrarily declared the Sea of Azov to be theirs we will soon declare Lake NATO to be ours.

If Russia doesn’t like it they can send their navy to deal with it. How many ships do you people have left? LOL!

2. Russia’s alliance with China sure means a lot. They won’t even sell your old vehicles back to you...a smart move since they’re planning to retake the Far East.

3. After the temporary fall of the USSR I was hopeful Russia would put the old ways behind them. Then you pricks went right back to yiurvold games.

Now the only way forward is to destroy Russia once and for all. One way or another that’s what will happen.

Are you stupid enough to want a hot war with Russia in Russia's backyard? Or WWIII with Russia and China? If so, you're stupid.

NATO couldn't save Finland nor would it be worth one American life trying do so.

Your RDS -- Russian Derangement Syndrome -- is a danger to citizens of this country.

They did, you idiot. It was Obama and Biden regimes that took unnecessary and ultra provocative actions toward Russia. You're either a liar or willingly blind if you want to ignore that.

We foment a revolution in Ukraine that overthrew a democratically-elected President and setoff a civil war. We funded, trained and enabled neo-Nazis and Ukrainian nationalists to persecute and murder ethnic Russians in Donbass. We promised the Russians no eastward expansion of NATO, broke our promise and teased NATO membership for Ukraine. We armed Ukraine with offensive weapons. We ran biolabs in Ukraine with deadly pathogens in them. We encouraged Ukraine to violate the Minsk Agreement that would have ended the civil war in Ukraine.

If you're okay with all that you're ignorant, neocon baboon that is danger safety of American citizens.
