The meaning of that flag has not changed. Only deranged Leftists see a cry for liberty from tyranny as wrong.
I like the “Don’t tread on Florida” variant on the DeSantis re-election shirts, yellow with a gator. Makes it more “Floridian” than the original snake and it would’ve looked better on a FL license plate.

Since anyone who puts such a plae on his truck IS a white supremacist/terrorist I wonder if federal officers will be stopping them on the highway for equipment checks and whatever else they can use for harassment or even arrest.

Around these parts, half the cops might go a bit easier on you for it. It can work both ways.
In the tri-county area of Walton, Bay, and Gulf counties, the cops are fairly conservative. I’ve been here only a short time and already causing problems. In one recent situation, an a$$hole complained I cussed at him. The cops said, “So? First amendment.”
