Good analysis. Can you put together links to support these various points? I may well create an editorial that explores this.

How the hell did we go from (relatively) free to under the oppressive thumb of a fascist dictatorship?

It happened right here on FreeRepublic in the spring of 2020. It was disturbing to see how many FREEPERS got on here and scolded me for refusing to shut down my business and hide under my bed when that “15 Days to Flatten the Curve” farce was announced.

The attempt to ban him would ensure that he is president again.

This was a very hamfisted operation which is guaranteed to have significant political blowback. They sure must be desperate to get their hands on whatever is in those documents.

Even if the FBI found actual evidence of a crime would anyone believe them?

I'm sure that we can 100% trust any "evidence" that 30 unobserved DC Field Office FBI agents "found" in Mar A Lago, and then removed to "review."

The FBI would never lie, or create false evidence.

ACTION NOW

Republican House members MUST shut down the House until they call up DOJ and FBI on hearings.

Biden doesn’t get his stinking bill.

Nothing gets done. Nothing.

I think they took documents that he kept for defense against false allegations. Now, he no longer has a written means of defense.

Deep State is getting desperate.

That in itself is scary.

This will not stand.

Perhaps not, but the democrats know they can tie this situation up for years before it’s undone. That’s the “catch me if you can” games they play.

Somewhere stashed away in cartons, I have technical manuals dating as far back as WWII that are marked classified, or whatever term they were using at the time, and the markings were never updated to indicate that the classification was removed.

Do I have to worry about the Secret Police breaking down my door to get them?

Congress has the power of the purse. Defund the FBI and DOJ until the said departments deworm themselves.

How many “public” documents did Obungu and Bill Clintoon take home for their Presidential libraries? Many boxes I will bet. The Dems are screwing themselves by knocking out Trump. DeSantis is the stronger candidate, who will whip Governor Hair Gel California.

The President of the United States is the top classification authority in the US government. If he declassified documents prior to his leaving office, those documents are declassified. If a succeeding President decides to reclassify them, that does not make the previous President guilty of any crime. At that point, notification has to be made that those documents are once again classified and must be returned.

And, if a former President is not allowed to take his personal papers at the end of his term, how could there ever be a “Presidential Library” for any former President? Such a thing simply could not exist. If every scrap of paper, every email is to be considered a federal record, then all past presidents and their respective staffs are guilty of the removal of federal records.

Let me know when the FBI begins the raids on Bill, Hillary, and Obama’s homes. If they do not perform the same kinds of raids on those individuals, this is simply politically motivated treason disguised as an “official investigation”.

Which, I expect, is why this is happening NOW. The Democrats and their RINO accomplices still run both houses of Congress. November is not very far away, so there is an air of urgency to their actions.
