I’ve concluded that Sandy Hook was in fact a false flag. Why else would they be going in so hard? Also, did anyone else realize that “lies” were so damn expensive? Most in Washington should be bankrupt.
Same legal premise used to keep 500 January 6th “insurrectionist” in solitary confinement without bail or trial.
And reading a few comments about how Alex should have been more sensitive to the grieving families… that’s just it, he didn’t believe there were really grieving families.
I’m starting to wonder if maybe Alex Jones was right. I didn’t follow him at the time and don’t know exactly what he was claiming but they’re vitriol suggests that he may have been a little close to the target.
The penalty is hyperbolic. They might as well make it 45 trillion.
So if the media lies about something, they can be sued?
Can you say vaccine injury?
Ask Nick Sandmann how much he got for suing ABC and other media outlets.
Point being, this judge is setting a NEW precedent.
It should be capitalized on.

I remember that vid. He also used an acting technique of hyperventilating right before he thought the cameras were to start to look flushed and upset.
$45 MILLION to ONE child’s parents is retaliation, not justice.
Was that family the only one that lost a child? Who’s going to pay that to the others? I doubt Jones has that kind of money. So the other families just have to suck it up?
If it were class action, divided up among the families of everyone killed, I would not see it as intimidation tactics or singling him out to ruin him.
But come down that hard on someone and it says nothing but someone is out to get him or make an example of him. The left hates him with an unbridled passion.
$45 million will not change their situation nor bring their child back. It will not make it hurt less. It’s meant to ruin Jones, nothing less.
I don't think it's a new precedent. Media outlets have been sued time after time for years. Melania Trump sued The Daily Mail and got a seven figure settlement. If you can prove malice on the part of the media company they they're wide open for legal action.

If the Alex Jones payments stand, it is.
Regardless of the validity of the claims against him or if he is or is not truly guilty, the enormous size of the award is a travesty in and of itself.

Sure sounds like he sabotaged ol’ Alex.
Notice that he did not settle out of court. Either of two reasons come to mind: 1) the defense believes they can/could beat the charge, and/or 2) the prosecution wants to set an example for deterring the “right-wing” media.
