I think part of the theory of the case against him is that while saying that the event was staged and that nobody died and that people saying otherwise were lying, he knew all along that the shooting had actually taken place,that actual people, including children, had died, and that the people he was directly or indirectly accusing of lying were, in fact, telling the truth. Perhaps this set of facts prevents him from taking refuge in the “,opinion” defense? IDK

Further, how did the plaintiffs prove that Alex Jones knew the murders actually took place? Did Alex Jones see the Police murder scene videos and photos before making his statements? Of course not.
