The war in Ukraine also has nothing to do with your parents.

But i notice the Putin lovers always change the subject.

Now it’s something to do with your dad not knowing how to switch from Yahoo?

Okee

Do any of you posting on this conflict know anything about what is really going on ?

Yes -- Russia is kicking Ukraine's ass. The Ukrainians, Biden regime, neocons, Deep State and rest of the "liberal world order" are pretending otherwise and are determined to keep the war going until the last Ukraine dies in a futile attempt to "harm" Russia.

We fomented a revolution in 2014, caused a civil war and sided with neo-Nazis and Ukrainian nationalists that sought to exterminate the ethnic Russian population. We encouraged Ukraine to ignore the Minsk Agreement it signed that would have brought peace to the region.

We armed Ukraine with offensive weapons, teased NATO membership for it and were running biolabs with deadly pathogens in them.

And, when Russia responded to all that, we claimed they invaded Ukraine for no good reason to grab land.

Our foreign policy is disgrace.

Why do you call the most successful saboteurs in the world clueless? Is that to keep the peasants docile?

This war is not about protecting Ukraine or even to weaken Russia, it's to weaken the U.S. and perhaps NATO as well.

As far as the leaders of this nation and military leaders, it has been very successful. Remember when the Democrats state their objectives, it is a lie, and the truth is the opposite goal of what they say out loud.

The outcome of this “war” is plain to see. It’s over. It always was and it should be. What is more interesting to me is what brought about the demise of the US. Bankrupt in every conceivable way. To me, it’s rotted from the inside out. You aren’t alone in the way you think. There are many people, including my own parents, not just anonymous internet personas, who literally are staunch advocates of this rot and fertilize it out of ignorance and selfish, lazy stupidity, for this I blame them, and you, for the destruction of this country. There is no forgiving.

You just don’t know right from wrong and you never will. It’s too late.

You know you sound like a nut?

A war is going on and you announce it’s over.

You compare people who disagree with you to your parents and their inability to deal with the internet. Also not a logical connection.

Then you talk as if you know anything about those who disagree with you, and you make bizarre conclusions about their lives and their immorality.

Have you been diagnosed? Because your pronouncements regarding a foreign policy issue do not appear to be normal.

I have.

They said it when they were claiming the Ruble would implode.

https://www.express.co.uk/finance/city/1580257/ruble-to-dollar-exchange-latest-russia-default-central-bank-Putin-sanction-ukraine-war

They claimed Putin would face being booted, killed or that he’s facing a terminal illness...

https://www.sundayguardianlive.com/world/vladimir-putin-unlikely-survive-invasion-ukraine

They claimed Ukraine would actually invade Russia and not just take back it’s land but seize even more.

They claimed casualties that were so ridiculously high that it was near comedic...

They claimed Russia would lose their ass in Mariupol.

They claimed there was no Nazi issue with the Azov unit... What’s that (the MSM just ignored it - pretended it away).

All of that was circulated, as “factual” news that you can trust, which passed the “fact checkers” on Facebook, MSNBC, CNN...

Propaganda is only that which does not fit the narrative. One sided opinions, dreamed up fantasies of vast victories as Ukraine is losing ground, people (not talked about), equipment is not seen as “propaganda.” Imaginary casualty numbers are taunted as a victory (reminiscent of Vietnam where we were talking about a body count for the enemy on our news every night) as Ukraine is losing (i.e. failing at accomplishing their stated political and military objectives) are used as some distraction and lessening of what is actually happening, Ukraine is losing ground ~ 20% of their landmass and population thus far, lost a major port city and industrial area... Ukraine at this point is an unstable nation with internal security issues, a de facto dictator which outlawed the political opposition, with a damaged infrastructure, millions of displaced people, and tens of thousands of dead. They will not be a NATO member and despite what the EU claims publicly, they won’t want them as a full member either (they would be inheriting a liability - not what the big 3 want).

This war, which was started by us, and is protracted by us, only serves one purpose at this point, attrit the Russian forces (do as much damage as possible both to reduce them on the world stage as our competitor, but also to make them pay). Ukraine is not getting its land, people, port city or industrial area back and at this point Ukraine is paying the price for our (the West) bigger global strategy of weakening Russia. In fact, Ukraine is paying a disproportionate price at this point (ie they are losing far more than the Russians are in terms of people and damage to ones country). But when you’re gambling with other peoples lives it’s easy to be audacious and Mr Z does whatever we tell him.

Ukraine already lost the war. It’s already mostly over. At this point it’s a back and fourth with the intent of attritting each other but the lines are pretty much drawn and the Russians took most of what they wanted. https://www.ft.com/content/4351d5b0-0888-4b47-9368-6bc4dfbccbf5 There is no doubt the Russian paid a much higher price and that this war took much longer than they anticipated. The combination of our massive intel, training the Ukrainians since 2015, money (cash used to hire a small mercenary army of ~ 7,000 men - also much avoided by the Western MSM since this too doesn’t really look good), and massive arms deliveries have had a huge impact. Will the Russians try to make us pay for that, of course. But that comes later... Of course when they play the same game back with us, we will be outraged, shocked that someone dare arm folks in Iraq, Yemen, Iran, Libya, Afghanistan, North Korea and these weapons be used against us... How dare they?!?!?! Like the economic games we are playing, where in part we are also affected, the Russians will return the favor with the proxy war games as well. Just give that some time.

Was it worth it?

Was all this worth Biden’s unilateral decision: https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/ukrainian-president-zelenskiy-holding-talks-with-biden-adviser-says-2021-12-09/

No one is pinning the blame for an entirely unnecessary war, where the outcome was known and the risk of that happening very high, while the added benefit was very small (NATO membership) on Biden. This is a mess that is 100% Biden’s doing, but no one talks about that. How much sense does this war really make at this point? Did Ukraine (trash now) really benefit? If you look at risk and return on investment, was that decision to push for NATO membership of Ukraine which was a war path really worth it? Who here thinks that Ukraine will fully recover in 2, 5, 10 years? Now that they have been trashed (the economic benefits are lost), once an agreement is reached, do you really believe the West (US and EU combined) will continue to pour money into the Ukraine at a rate ~1/3 of their entire GDP?

I know we have a Ukraine war fan-club here. But the only real loser at this point is Ukraine, they lost in (((EVERY))) respect, not only losing the land, people, port city and industrial area, but also their economy, internal stability, deaths, displaced population and worst of all, any hopes for NATO membership (what this war was caused over) and likely even EU membership. What we try to present as some victory in our “fact checked” MSM is in reality losing, losing, losing, losing... for Ukraine. Please, other than going into the realm of imaginary, tell me one way how Ukraine walks away from this better off?

“They” say a lot of things. Western military analysts of all stripes expected Russia to win in a week.

Do you know anything about the past history of Eastern Europe? Russia has been a bully for hundreds of years. It is not surprising that all of those nations might want some protection from a regional bully. The other bully Germany has been cooped into the regional defense alliance that in part was created to do just that . Now Russia is acting just like it has done in the past by intimidation of its neighbors and now those countries can join the NATO as a counter to its aggression. You are seeing a reaction that has been brought on by hundreds of years of European history. Not surprising. Russia is behaving much like it always done and expects subservience from its neighbors. Russia is the problem.

I know Crimea and Eastern Ukraine were traditionally part of Russia and have a mostly ethnic Russian population. So, there is nothing at all wrong with those parts of the country refusing to go along with an illegal coup and the persecution by neo-Nazis and Ukrainian nationalists that followed.

Russia shouldn't be punished for its past anymore than Whites in this country should be punished because slavery existed.

Russia being punished??? Also why what is happening in Ukraine has any relevance in CRT in the USA questionable. Russia is trying to recreate its past empire. That Europe might want to help Ukraine defend it independence is not hard to understand. What did Russia expect. The change from the post WW2 world order will leave a fractured world that is very dangerous.

Russia is trying to recreate its past empire.

That is a lie. If that were true, Russia wouldn't have come to us and outlined their security concerns in December in an effort to avoid this war. All the Russians wanted was a guarantee Ukraine wouldn't join NATO and would remain neutral and the Minsk Agreement, which Ukraine signed, implemented that would have ended the eight-year civil war, which we setoff by fomenting the Maidan revolution in 2014.

Most of eastern Ukraine IS ethnically and historically Russian. There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with the Russians protecting ethnic Russians from persecution and genocide at the hands of Ukrainian nationalists and neo-Nazis.

And, there is NO chance we'd tolerate Russia or China arming Mexico with offensive weapons and funding biolabs with deadly pathogens in them there. We'd go in militarily and prevent that from happening. We turned Ukraine into a national security threat for the Russians.
