Really, DeSantis is going to have a trade war with Europe and tariffs their Cara? I thought that was protectionism from a Conservative stand point. Huge tariffs on steel? Isn’t that a tax? I thought Conservatives didn’t like taxes? DeSantis
built a huge real estate company and hired 10 of thousands of employees? Didnt realize Ron started and failed with a half dozen other companies. Uour kidding me, he went through bankruptcy protection multiple times? DeSantis is not Trump. Hopefully if he runs he doesn’t go with the “I am Trump without being Trump meme”. I suspect Pence Iscariot is going to be running with that play too.
desantis is currently running for reelection for florida governor this year (2022)...
he’ll be sworn in january 2023...
people are dreaming if they believe he’s going to start a presidential campaign in 2023...
He 100% will if he thinks there is a reasonable chance he can win (Obama did the same thing but through the Senate). You know how I know...he’s a politician. He’ll say one thing and do the other.
he’s also got 3 young children and his wife recently battled breast cancer...
he’s already stated his attention is focused on winning this year’s election, not a presidential campaign next year...
he’s not leaving florida anytime soon...
DeSantis deserves considerable credit, but so also do more than twenty five years of Republican legislatures. Gradually and steadily, they made Florida a national leader for successful conservative policies at the state level.
