I found out this fact here on FR ( another thread ) about an hour before it was first reported on NHK news which we were watching intensely !

And this is why it is impossible to ban guns. Firearms have been around for over 600 years and the technology and materials to build a crude but deadly firearm, projectile and propellant are widely available.
