Why don’t you throw more lies at us like “diversity is strength” or “climate change” or “green new deal” like some rabid, ranting, leftist dog would?

It’s not a proxy war for Russia or Ukraine.

You are being funny now.

But like the rest of the Biden worshipers, he will hold your coat while you go.

There have been numerous attacks inside Russia. Just search Ukraine cross-border attacks.

“Well, now I am convinced.”

Most people on Free Republic have most likely not bothered to read Pompeo’s new speech, but they should.

https://freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/4076141/posts

It was very upsetting just on the face of it; but far more worrisome after listening to today’s Duran analysis of it.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1PEsRn9L8Ns

The speech appears to be written by the State Department and basically is an annoying attempt at public manipulation designed to secure approval for a permanent U.S. war position.

He declares that so long as Zelensky avoids negotiations we will continue to provide all the weapons he needs to take back all the occupied territory no matter how long it takes.

Then switches over to Taiwan which he insists we need to recognize as a free, independent country right now no matter how it goes.

In the Duran podcast from a day ago

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GNzh7EoxyD4

Larry Johnson informs that the U.S. General in charge of the region has been deliberately provoking China recently (no doubt, under orders) despite Xi’s repeated warning that if we continue to interfere they will respond. NATO is now considering including China in their sphere of responsibility.

China is now preparing for sanctions which they expect the U.S. to enact.

There has been clear evidence for quite a while that our actions in regard to both Russia and China were part of our plan to weaken our competitors/adversaries and bring about “regime change” through proxy wars.

As should be clear to any objective person who actually follows how things have been going to date, it appears this is going to be another abject failure; complete with the economic destruction this will create for all of us.

People who don’t want to be blind sided should start expanding their efforts at getting factual information and good geopolitical analysis.

That’s quite a statement. Or warning should I say.

It is a warning to the young men of Russia, and the people who love them. At the rate Putin is going he'll single handedly reduce the Russian population of young men, all to stoke the dreams of the elderly fans of Soviet style expansion.

The plaque industry in Russia is booming from what I have seen.

In a few years the largest Russian export will be brides.

Relying on Russian state sources is the opposite of "getting factual information and good geopolitical analysis" but you knew that already Cathi.

I suggest thinking for yourself instead of parroting Russian talking points.

I’m ignoring him. Just because he fought in Vietnam (and I thank him for his service), that doesn’t mean I have to enlist in order to hope for the destruction of the Russians.

It was different for him. He either enlisted or was drafted to fight in Vietnam. We don’t have troops doing the same in Ukraine. Apples and oranges comparison.

Just ignore him.

Unless Ukraine unconditionally surrenders and boots us and NATO from what’s left of it, the Russians will be forced to take control of every inch of Ukraine.

It’ll be interesting to see if they can maintain logistics as they advance west.

Long range artillery will make that more difficult.

“It’s a tragedy for the Ukrainian people...”

You can’t invade Ukraine and start murdering Ukrainians and then pretend you have some sympathy for “the Ukrainian people”, Putin.

“He declares that so long as Zelensky avoids negotiations we will continue to provide all the weapons he needs to take back all the occupied territory no matter how long it takes.”

Gee, it’s almost like Pompeo believes we should honor security guarantees we have made to free countries against the aggressively expansive moves of lawless dictatorships.

Bloomberg:

EU Bureaucracy Seen Blocking 1.5 Billion-Euro Loan to Ukraine
Caution prevailing over Ukraine’s urgent needs, officials say
Financial reliability the issue as Ukraine faces rising costs

The executive arm of the European Union is blocking a 1.5 billion-euro ($1.5 billion) loan for Ukraine as caution prevails over the country’s urgent needs, according to officials.

The impasse amounts to a Catch-22 for Ukraine. The country is pushing for help to keep its economy afloat as it counters the Russian invasion, but has seen the proposed loan blocked by the European Commission’s budget unit because of concerns over its financial reliability, said the officials who declined to be named on a confidential issue.
