Even havily blue states such as NY and CA have very low compliance.
So, now an 18-21 year old woman cannot buy a firearm to protect herself, but she can get an abortion, when raped.
Got it.

They don’t care. They have taxpayer funded attorneys and if there is a civil suit they will either have qualified immunity and if not the taxpayers will pay the settlement.

I’m sure the gangbangers of RI will comply.

Confiscate ‘em at the range?

Last I checked mags aren’t tracked in any way.....or am I out in left field?

Mad Maxine has something of the right idea -

Indeed!

Perhaps our newest battle cry in the face of overeaching government: "We will defy them!"

She clearly expanded the limits of acceptable behavior, albeit perhaps in violation of her oath of office.

Connecticut passed a law 10 years ago banning AR-15’s and requiring them to be destroyed or turned in. There was less than 6% compliance.

Anybody inclined to modify them:

Stencil ‘.375 SOCOM’ on the mag - a 30 rd 5.56 mag will only hold ten of them.

Instantly compliant.

Dear Gov. McKee:

Does your security detail have mags with over ten rounds?

Go pound sand.

5.56mm

Well if they were careful enough to prohibit the purchase but not the possession for 18 year olds, then relatives could buy guns for them.

The key giveaway is they are pro-crime.

Criminals are useful - if usually unwitting - foot soldiers of the Revolution.

Self-defenders are nothing but counterrevolutionary scum who are withholding their private property from legitimate redistribution to meet the needs of the people.

Robert Heinlein once described armed robbers as "free-lance Socialists" so it's understandable that the big guys want to protect their own. :)

And how many pistol manufacturers make 10 round magazines for Baretta, H&K, & other semi-automatic pistols that were designed to operate with a magazine of 14+ rounds?

They’ll throw the book at people who ever have one on them in a clear case of self-defense. Even if the aggressor had a 30-round mag in an AK-47, it won’t matter. The prosecutor gets another notch in his belt.

The law is being challenged; then too, if you’ve already got them, you can keep them. Need more? Just hope over the border to Idaho or Oregon or have a friend from another state mail them to you.

That’s what they’re actually doing - make those guns effectively illegal without having to codify it.
