About half way through the movie I realized that I was watching Naval Aviator PORN! They love to love themselves.
Good writing to use the F-14 for the ride home. I hope that those who don’t know the history of the Shah, F-14s and Phoenix Missiles reacquaint themselves with a low part of US statesmanship.
The best scene in the movie was the one with the Porsche parked on the ramp.
Cruise has aged well. I don’t think that there will be another “Top Gun,” (quit while you are ahead.)
Saw it on Father’s Day with the whole family. EXCELLENT!
After watching it, I was almost dreading having to sit through it. Went the next day, and was BLOWN AWAY!!! Loved it!
