Well, he was elected by majority vote by the voters in the state of Texas. They knew who he was and what he was before they elected him. And they liked what he was and what he was doing or they would not have elected him. So what is your problem?

It’s still a good hill to die on. Regardless of his reasoning, the certification still requires a vote, it’s not automatic. No man should be compelled to vote against his conscience.
