White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said Susan Rice is leading the administration's gun control efforts.
Jean-Pierre said there is "no one better" than Rice to lead the effort in the wake of a mass shooting Tuesday at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas. She was responding to a question about whether President Joe Biden intended to tap his vice president as a gun czar, a role Biden held during the Obama administration that some Democratic lawmakers have urged the president to fill again.
“We have a whole-of-government approach … that Ambassador Susan Rice is leading, along with other departments,” Jean-Pierre added.
Rice leads Biden's Domestic Policy Council and was considered a top vice presidential prospect during the 2020 campaign. A veteran of the Obama administration, she drew controversy after downplaying the possibility of a planned terrorist attack when four Americans were killed in Benghazi, Libya. Rice was ambassador to the United Nations at the time.
Jean-Pierre said Rice was well equipped to push the administration's efforts forward. “She has decades of experience coordinating interagency processes in the federal government,” Biden's press secretary said. “There's no one better at bringing department heads to the table to drive the process.”
She also defended the administration's gun control efforts, urging Congress to act to pass new measures.
“We have done our part,” Jean-Pierre said, adding that the administration would continue to pursue executive actions.

Not sure if this was posted: FOX reporter says the shooter was arrested 4 years ago for saying he was going to shoot up a school during his senior year. I’d say that’s a Red Flag. Too many of these shooters just fall thru the cracks.

I have thought for months that the plan all along was to slither Liar Rice into veep slot, so they could wheel Creeper Joe away. Then fill the VP slot with another check the box. I’m guessing the $$$$$ is already in Old Ho Harris’ off shore account and she is going to develop a life threatening and very sympathetic illness, very soon. Any other guesses??? Well, Rice is one of the cabal telling Biden what to do and say. So she in essence appointed herself.
imagine the people in the ukraine if their laws said they can only have semi auto weapons with only 7 rounds? They woudl NOT be able to defend themselves against the Russians with their superior firepower- and either will we citizens if we are ever attacked by foreign countries thanks to the left destroying our right to adequate self protection against all enemies foreign and domestic-
