Sadly, I voted for Bush, because I "didn't want to waste my vote."

We were also pretty desperate to sweep the Clinton trash out, which included Gore.

True, but that was the nature of thinking back then. We knew Bush was pretty much a globalist, but we wanted the Clinton Machine removed.

Remember, 9/11 hadn’t happened yet, there was no DHS, airports were much easier to navigate and we weren’t at war with anybody. We lived and thought differently then.

The zillennials are trying to apply current circumstances to our thinking back then. Zillennials were just babies back then, or nonexistent and their indoctrinated generational culture was not much of a factor in those days.

So did I. The alternatives were too terrible to even fathom.

I’ve been reflecting on his comment since and offer this:
Had Gore or Kerry BEEN elected, the America of the early 2000s MIGHT have become aware of even the less strident and insane leftist moves by a Gore or a Kerry and reacted accordingly by VOTING a Gore or Kerry OUT of office after a first term.
No one will ever know where the tipping point is in these situations, but during those 8 Bush years, he lulled many citizens into a complacency while his RINO appointees set the stage for the Globalist oligarchs’ plan now out in the open for “he who has eyes to see”.
And, of course, the events of 9/11, the deaths of 4,000 of us and the ensuing “NO-WIN” war in the Middle East (and the billions that flowed into the M-I Complex) should not be overlooked.
The other, more dangerous aspect of Bush’s 8 years is that the nearly universally Marxist universities poured out MILLIONS of new radical communists, all of whom vote or became tools of the 2020 election fraud and many of whom infiltrated county, state and the national governments, setting the stage for the Marxist Obama, whose fellow Marxists probably also “manipulated” the 2012 election, giving Obama 4 more years to damage or destroy more of our national fabric.
Trump’s 2016 surprise defeat of Hitlery was a shock to these “criminals”
that could never be allowed to happen again.
If we don’t seriously examine WHAT America ONCE WAS and WHO WE ARE, America won’t even be a footnote in any future history books and...
Never mind!

Thanks for the link to see the actual interview conducted by Cathy Newman.

She is indeed a cut throat interviewer. Obnoxious to the max. Not fair at all. A lot of self-control there by Jordan Peterson — to his enormous credit.

BTW, I think Peterson is a far better communicator in person or via youtube/podcast than he is in his books. I respect his great courage to stand up to the Leftist mob.
