How is the headline, "Steve Israel: A bump in Biden approval rating ‘probably saves the Senate for Democrats’"supported by, "But whether Democrats can retain their paper-thin Senate majority may come down to a few factors, Israel said, warning that if Biden’s approval rating stays where it is now and the party’s voter base heads into Election Day unmotivated, it could cost Democrats at the polls"?

(A deep recession might well bring down energy prices, food prices and housing costs. Maybe not crime in the big blue cities, but is economic disaster the Democrats' Hail Mary pass?)

There are 35 U.S. Senate seats up for election in 2022—14 seats held by Democrats and 21 held by Republicans.

A full and clean sweep (unlikely) would not be enough to have the votes to remove Biden from office. However, it would get us close.

I’ll say this right now...

In spite of a red wave, I won’t be surprised in the least if the Dems pick up the open GOP Senate seat in PA...

We will see, but if I had to put money on it right now, I’d say GOP will have a killer night in November, but if there was one race I would say Dems are likely to gain... it will be the PA senate race.

We will see how the fall goes, but right now, that’s one race I think the Dems are better than even odds to pick up.

Not to worry, Republicans, aka the “stupid party”, will bail them out by November.

I would expect GOP gains, but they won’t clean sweep, and as I posted in another post on this thread... Even though GOP is on track for a red wave... If I had to put money on it right now, I’d say odds are in the favor of the Dems taking the open PA senate seat currently held by Toomey, even with an overall red wave.

Obviously a LOT of time until November... lots of things can change in that time... but right now I do see a huge red wave, taking back the house solidly (maybe even hit triple figures on seat gains there), and taking back the Senate solidly... but if I had to pick a race that I suspect will buck the trend... it will the open PA Senate race.

OZ is a hack... won’t support him ever...

Trump endorsement might get him the primary win.. (maybe)... but Fetterman is without question the odds on favorite to win the General... I don’t see Trump remotely being able to carry slimeball Oz over the goalpost in the general.

Frankly even with a red wave, I suspect Fetterman beat handily any GOP candidate this fall for the Senate seat.

If you think the Republicans are going to take the Senate (I don’t), tell me which Democrats they are going to beat.

There aren't ten Republican Senators who want Biden removed from office.

“Mitch still in charge.”

If he still is in charge, it will just mean that the Republicans are still corrupt and the deep state is still riding herd.

Don’t think so. Biden isn’t the Democrats problem, the proggy agenda being adopted by the national party as their center of gravity is the Democrats problem. Its true that presidents get blamed or praised for the economy, but from where I sit, the more studious voters are going to do a crash-course-study at the last minute of candidates websites to see if it squares with the impressions they have after all the ads. There is a tremendous effort being made to socially engineer our country, and there are a whole lot of voters out there who feel like they are on the Democrats crap list. Thats sort of has something to do with Biden, as the diminished economic prospects may be interpreted as getting the stick, but Biden’s viewed as a nice old man with a bunch of angry arrogant weirdos on his hands. Its a hostage situation almost. He’ll survive, I mean hello, he’s not up for election, but hopefully (if we’re very lucky) a large portion of the angry weirdos will go away next January.

The thing that might save the Democrats is something like the Texas abortion law becoming the law of the land. Its the Republicans equivalent of the reparations issue. Both issues have around 20% approval, and you’re not going to win an election with 20% approval issues as your centerpiece.

He's setting up the next fraudulent election. The new narrative begins.

Israel is a bonehead paid by the deep state to say this. Expect multiple boneheads to rush to the stage and say stupid stuff between now and the Nov. elections. It’s all part of the kabuki theatre for the collapsing rat party.
