Stockman’s statement seems ludicrous, but his characterization of Zelensky as a “clown” is accurate. I would have no faith in a country whose powers behind the scenes put the court jester in charge.

The founding fathers recognized that man is inherently evil and structured a government with checks and balances, rather than the traditional monarchy. They were insightful, but not not infallible.
I don’t care who you are, but if you will not stay and fight to protect your home and family you aren’t worth spit. If someone — and I don’t care who! — is attacking your family, I fully expect you to fight like a banshee to protect them.
It’s not anarchy to laugh at the idea of us needing strong government leaders because of a crisis those very leaders created.
A lot of that sentiment goes out the window when you live in an urban center where “home and hearth” are a multi-story tenement, you have no connection with transient neighbors, and “family” is a group of highly dysfunctional wards of the state.

Why are there no comparisons of Putin to Lincoln? Lincoln didn't recognize the right of the Confederate States to be an independent country. Putin doesn't recognize Ukraine's right to independence. Lincoln demonized the Southerners as "rebels." Putin demonizes the Ukrainians as "Nazis." It took Lincoln 4 years to conquer the South. Maybe four years from now Putin will have won and Kiev will look like Richmond did in April 1865.
And what if your family is a Russian-speaking one, with relatives on the Russian side of the border, and your kids' schools have been closed, and the local Ukraine "nazi" militia leader sent from Western Ukraine decides you are a potential problem? Do you stay?

Nah, banshee might not fit. I used it in the context of “a wild woman,” which is more of a modern description than the original, true meaning of the word. So, I’m amending my comment by saying “...fight like a man (or woman) possessed.”
What a silly question. I am for a decent freedom loving Republic. Any old government who doesn’t put citizens first is dangerous and evil.

Zelensky does the bidding of Biden, the anti-Putin self proclaimed tough guy.
Meanwhile millions of Ukrainians are left homeless, their lives ruined.
I put this on Zelensky, the comedian who has forsaken his country and its people.
Ukraine is the size of Texas. Russia is almost twice the size of the United States, so what outcome does Zelensky realistically expect, other than many more deaths and total destruction of his military?

When this war is over either Zelensky or Putin (or a Putin puppet) will be leading Ukraine. If, under your scenario, Russia withdrawals and Zelensky is removed there will be a power vacuum at a time when Ukraine is in ruins. This will most likely lead to a civil war. The question is what scenario would lead to an outcome that causes the Ukrainian people the least hardship. You can hate the leader and still dread the alternative.
