The enthusiastic response is due to the Ukraine’s offer of asylum for the duration of the war and then citizenship for Russian soldiers who defect. The Syrians volunteering for Russian service in the Ukraine think the Ukrainian offer will apply to them. And with Ukrainian, as opposed to Syrian, citizenship they can move to someplace nicer like France.

Many frerpers absolutely worship the ground Putin walks on.

I never had any idea that so many conservatives adore Putin.

I now totally understand why the DNC tried to link conservativism with Putin.
All they had to do is read here at free republic.
