Gates is PURE EVIL!
250+ thousand acres, he’s a piker compared to many of the top land owners in the US. Not sure he’s even make the top 20 in Texas. If he’s not working and producing the land he’s losing money. We have 21 million acres of land all across the US enrolled in the CRP program. There’s where folks need to be looking if they’re worried about someone controlling the food supply.
I remember a cartoon in Playboy back in the 80s that had the actor that played Cannon. He was sitting at a table with fork, knife in hand and plate in front of him while looking at a picture of a nice steak and salivating. On the plate was a pill which was a meal in the future he was in. We’re almost there.
Oil, food shortages before elections, if so we will never have real elections again..

Geeze... I’m glad I’m almost dead...
“I buy grassfed beef”
And the definition of grass fed is what? The definition of grass is what? Not trying to be an azz but folks have really fell into this grass fed thing big time. We’ve ranched and sold cows for over 120 years and every one of them have been more grass fed than what’s being sold as grass fed today. Let me add that every ranch I’m aware of have been doing the same thing.
We need a French style revolution.
Good thing that wasn’t a 12-gauge instead of a pie.
That incident with the Gates Foundation (my post #11) upsets me to this day. That Bill Gates could be so openly and casually racist...it’s infuriating.
And by the way, I would have done the same thing had the applications been only for Italian kids, or only for Irish kids, etc. As I’m sure you’d agree, no favoritism should be shown in public schools, or in any governmental organization.
That wouldn’t work out well for anybody because the Jacobins would be in charge again.
Too much Soy for me in all of that fake stuff. Ugh!
My steer goes to ‘the spa’ on Thursday. I’m gonna miss this one a little bit; he has a sweet disposition for a steer. But he’ll be back with me in two weeks in nice packaging for the freezer. ;)
If you really NEED to cut meat out of your diet for some medical reason, try a Black Bean Burger. Those are pretty good and wasy to make at home. And buy a bottle of Liquid Smoke, LOL!
P.S. Gates sucks! Evil, awful human being, no matter WHAT he’s trying to sell ya!
Isn't that a USDA program controlled by the U.S. government?
Gates really is doing his best impression of a Bond Villain.
Don't forget sheep. Love lamb chops.
Your Liquid Smoke tip is excellent; thanks! Here is a recipe from Ree Drummond:

About 378 sq miles.
Dixie fire in N Calif burned almost a million acres.
I love Ree’s recipes! Thanks for posting that. :)
BS
Gates and others own land because it a solid investment asset that can’t be destroyed.
“Half of the agricultural land in the US is suitable for farming, the other half only for grazing. And cattle are the only animal that we can raise on grass.”
My cute as buttons goats would like to join the conversation :) they are better than any lawn mower and they leave organic compost behind. Goats are the most raised animal on earth occupying more pasture and scrub lands than all the bovines. Goat is also the most eaten protein of the ungulate species by far. Rabbits, horses, Guinea pig, geese and a special breed of swine can also be raised exclusively on grasses and shrubs. Imagine trying to herd rabbits or Guinea pigs hilarity ensues.
