We’ve SO lost our government!

Actually, without our support and taxes those in government have nothing. We are in charge - not the pinheads who populate DC. They govern by OUR consent. It's way past time that we and they remember this.

I remember when Sasse was the "Tea Party candidate" and had Mark Levin, Sarah Palin, the Club for Growth, RedState.com, Senate Conservatives Fund, etc., etc., all touting him in the GOP primary.

I betsa they wish they had gone with Shane Osborn now.

I was just about to say I remember when the SCF was promoting this jerk as a tea party type conservative.

Trump exposed all the fakers.

“Another Trump endorsed Bush League Republican. He has to stop doing that or we will NEVER Make America Great Again.”
While you and I agree on a great many things. Your comment here lacks context.
President Trump has been betrayed by a good many people who proclaimed allegiance to him in the beginning. Mo Brooks of Alabama of all places is among the latest.
President Trump was an elected outsider. He had to gamble on many people in order to fill a massive gov’t organization and, a massive cabinet to fill many positions.
As an outsider, he had to trust and pray that most agreed with his America First agenda.
He learned the hard way that his Snake story was far more real than he ever suspected when it came to politics.
Likewise his trust and faith in American Military “leaders”. President Trump’s view of them was WWII hero’s such as Patton, Nimitz, etc...he learned that such men do not exist in the PC military of today.
These lessons were further complicated for him by the 24/7/365 attacks by the Deep State, Media, Dems and RINO Bushies.
So, before you continue with your harsh criticism of President Trump I suggest you contemplate how effective you would be under that withering 24/7/365 attack from all fronts. Would you have survived or cowered in a corner hugging a blanket? Never mind actually reviving a nation with an economy more robust than had been seen in 70 years and energy independence.
Ney, energy superiority. A net exporter and on track to surpass all other nations on earth as a net exporter of energy. Started no wars. Managed to get Saudi Arabi, the UAE, and others to make peace with Israel and actually enter into a cooperative arrangement. Eliminate ISIS as a threat, etc...so, as I initially stated, your criticism is myopic. It takes non of these disadvantages, and political motivations of the Swamp into consideration nor does it address the man’s accomplishments in the face of all of the opposition the Swamp posed to President Trump from the moment he announced to the moment he was sworn in.

Ketanji is a BLACK WOMAN WITH ISSUES. Not supreme court material.

FReepers love to rip on "Linda Grahamnesty", but when Graham takes the Senate's "Advise and Consent" role in judicial nominations seriously, while "Tea Party star" Sasse bristles at it, we have a real problem.

The "Tea Party" proved in the last decade to be almost as bad a judge of character as the "Federalist Society" did.

I agree that initially he did not know who was who and what was what when it came to Washington politics.
By now he should be able to recognize the swamp monsters.

Sasse’s utterances, as usual, are like a loud, vile-smelling fart in the middle of midnight mass on Christmas eve...

Trump said for the Republicans to replace Sasse. They didn’t do it. He easily secured the GOP nomination anyway so to blame Trump is stupid. Blame Mark Levin, Tea Party Express and Glenn Beck who said Sasse was a solid conservative in 2014.

I’m still trying to figure out why Graham and 2 other R senators supported KBJ’s 2021 confirmation to the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals.

Graham is inconsistent…great one day, awful the next.

It's all just theater. Throw some red meat out for his constituents in order to get re-elected, just like so many other. Then when the cameras are off, it's a return to the Uniparty.

Where is the jackassery going on during the hearing on both sides of the aisle any different than the normal level of jackassery the the Senate usually displays?
