Oddly and against all common sense - the UAF is still largely intact with several SU-24s and 25s attacking the legendary Russian convoy. So they must have air fields and maintenance available.

Forget the entire fighter jet. I never received an offer from the government for a 30 minute joy ride in a fighter jet. And I am writing a income tax check this year larger than average family income in US. Why does corrupt Ukraine (remember Burisma connection with Hunter Biden?) get fighter jets with my tax dollars?

The UAF pilots have ZERO training flying anything other than Russian made planes.
A-10s would be useless to them and no parts ammo trained mechanics etc. SU-25s are the Russian ‘equivalent’ of A-10s

That's about ... 2-3 million people in Kyiv with no food, water, electricity, sewage, medicine or fuel.... think of whatever city you live near or in... and think of how long they would last with no food, fuel, water, or medicine delivery...
You can have jets, missiles, guns etc.... but without food and water... they don't work very well.

There is a Ukrainian mechanized unit in the area to block the landing, I guess they are waiting for air power to take out that unit
