Sorry there’s no moral equivalency whatsoever to what Russia is doing and has historically done as USSR - despite all of US’ past mistakes.
To: delta7
excuse me let me rephrase
Sorry there’s no moral equivalency whatsoever to what Russia is doing and has historically done as USSR — to whatever mistakes the USA has made. The USA has earned and deserved its place in the world.
Doesn’t mean we need to keep policing it. It’s time for other countries aka our “allies” to step up to the plate.

He doesn’t need to be in Kiev to ensure Russian security.
He’s clearly a sociopath and he needs to be charged with war crimes.
I think the Russian orthodox patriarch needs to review Ezekiel 38.

"came in the way of those who declared themselves the winners of the Cold War."
This is the key line. He doesn't believe the USSR really lost.

It is not our plan to occupy the Ukrainian territory. We do not intend to impose anything on anyone by force.Bull#$&*.

Of course he does. If he didn't recognize that loss, even in his own terms, he wouldn't have anything to complain about. He's just doing the Hitler thing--which is to complain of injury, yet claim omnipotence.
He'd just another conniving, psychopathic narcissist in a long line of them. Isn't that what this adds up to?

In the late 1980s, the Soviet Union grew weaker and subsequently broke apart. That experience should serve as a good lesson for us, because it has shown us that the paralysis of power and will is the first step towards complete degradation and oblivion. We lost confidence for only one moment, but it was enough to disrupt the balance of forces in the world....The collapse of the Soviet Union led to a redivision of the world, and the norms of international law that developed by that time – and the most important of them, the fundamental norms that were adopted following WWII and largely formalised its outcome – came in the way of those who declared themselves the winners of the Cold War.There it is...in black and white..."my predecessors (oh, and me...I was part of the USSR) lost the Cold War because we didn't kill enough protestors. We should have gunned down the people standing on The Wall - that's being "tough." Since my theatre of being pro-God and anti gay isn't winning me enough fans globally, and since I'm still butt hurt over communism being hated everywhere except Harvard, I will crush on the Ukraine."

I prefer Putin to communist puppet Biden. Putin protects the interests of the Russian people. If only our leaders did the same for us.

I consider it necessary today to speak again about the
tragic events in Donbass and the key aspects of ensuring the
security of Russia. Say what? Someone invaded Russia with 150,000 troops,
transports, aircraft dropping smart bombs, and advancing
tanks?
Funny, I haven't head of it.

Here’s a reply from a Ukrainian who is one serious badass.
I love the fact that he is tightening that suppressor on that 103 that he had to have taken from a dead Russian... Just gotta love it. I betcha he knows exactly how to use that rifle, and it’s previous owner won’t be the only Ruskie he off’s tonight.
