I was watching for a couple of hours and just after Ted Cruz made some reasonable argument about delaying the certification until things could be sorted out, the ‘riot’ took place.
But I missed it! Did Nanzi Pelousy crap her pants and run out f the room? Why is there no video of that?

Americans protesting is what it is about.
But, as I was driving yesterday listening to talk radio my thoughts did wander to something we do not discuss too often. Something that likely did ‘wake-up’ the congressional critters.
How easy it was for a group of unarmed individuals to breach the building.
How vulnerable they actually are.
It demonstrated a huge hole in our National Security.
They laughed at President Trump, in summer of BLM in DC, going to the bunker for safety as rioting took place in the streets of DC. To flash forward to Jan. 6th and the actual breach of the building by unarmed individuals.
I accept they were startled, scared and frightened at the breach. I accept it panicked them. I accept there was damage done by individuals, but the vast majority of the crowd remained outside.
It is important for us to grasp that for them, over the years having orchestrated things like the Arab Spring, this appeared to them that their tables had been turned. I believe this is why they call it an insurrection, because it is what they themselves have orchestrated around the globe.
But, that isn’t what January 6th was about. It wasn’t about the illegal overthrow of the government process, it was a demand for redress. And though we hoped for the certification to be questioned, delayed and examined properly many accepted that in the end we would need to deal with whatever the outcome would be.

Yes, we were. Had several network closed feeds on simultaneously. Both inside and outside as it went down. Rep Paul Gosar was speaking his opposition and interrupted when the chambers was breached and the shot rang out. Pelosi had already left earlier. She had heads up and knew it was coming long before anyone else did.
The problem is nobody reads books anymore. Especially the people that should be reading one book called Mein Kampf.

To corrupt media, Democrats, and Big Tech, anyone who protested the 2020 election is no different than the fools who stormed the U.S. Capitol.
On the one-year anniversary of the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, the corporate media is working overtime to convince the American public that Republicans as a whole stormed the nation’s beacon of democracy at the beginning of 2021 and have waged a war on all that is good and decent. While lunatics and fools did invade the Capitol last January, tens of thousands of Americans peacefully assembled to demand answers from the government about what they believed to be the sloppiest election in which they’ve ever voted.
Political violence should always be condemned, but a majority of the people present in Washington, D.C., and on the Capitol grounds on Jan. 6 weren’t violent. Yes, hundreds of people stormed the U.S. Capitol in a riot, but tens of thousands of people of all ages, races, backgrounds, and lifestyles gathered together that day at the Save America Rally to protest the Democrats’ sleazy election manipulation and hear from President Donald Trump. ——Snip——
What violence? The majority of the violence happened when the police attacked the demonstrators. The only murders occurred at the hands of the police.
