I didn’t wear a mask (except at the very beginning when it was required to go to the grocery store) and am not vaccinated.
I refuse to do either at this point.
I have two nieces, both nurses, both also refuse masks and jabs. THEY say there is too much unknown about them.

I’d go in a heartbeat but most of the ports in Mexico aren’t allowing debarkation. Also, I’d be going alone since everyone I’d take is a no-vaxxer. I have to be for work.
Careful. It’s all about viral load. Get enough virus to overwhelm the macrophage immune response and it could be dire. Have to be over weight for that and older. The more the worse. But I think the vaxxes at this point aren’t that effective as everyone has been exposed -and has antibodies coded for it.

Your experience sounds much like mine—I got the J&J last March and got covid on Sat (positive home test). Two days of fever and chills and sleeping a lot, then oddly sore eyes for two days.
Today is day 6 and I feel pretty much fine. A little congested. My teen daughter got it Mon. She’s coughing a bit but her fever is gone now too.
I also take Elderberry.
