In my opinion the State was already headed towards “California thinking “ before everybody started moving here.
The education and media sectors were already brain washing the natives, to become little left-wing, communist, socialist, progressive, elitist, etc.
The Foreigners from California have changed Oregon, but their little domestic buddies had already prepared the ground work.
I was born in 1971 and this state, has been bombarded with consistent left wing propaganda-information since my first memory.
I don’t know the Oregon you’re talking about, I only know left wing Oregon. Its been here all my life. The left-wing finally conquered the State in 1988, that was the watershed year.
That is how socialism is spread in the US.

In 1964, LBJ won 44 states. Does that mean liberals moved from liberal states and turned 44 states liberal in 1964?
How about 1984? Reagan won 49 states. Did massive numbers of conservatives move from conservative states that turned 49 states into conservative voting states?
Brainwashed defeatists love playing the liberals-moving-to- consevative-states game because it’s another defeatist trope that gives their shallow lives superficial meaning.
I have a friend who has been involved in Arizona politics for decades and he has seen the state changed from red to purple. He regrets the best they can do now is elect a RINO like McCain.
I hope Texas or Florida can be an exception, because that is where we intend to move.
