Children generally drink a lot of milk. There is about 100mg/L in whole milk. I wonder if this is why Covid is not affecting the children like it does adults?

I thought the prevailing theory regarding children was that their immune systems, being young, "pre-activates" interferon in their lungs and bronchial tubes. This interferon alerts the body's immune system to the presence of the virus very early in the infection, unlike with adults where it takes about five days for the body to recognize that COVID is present. The early activation of interferon in children begins to dissipate as they get older.

One interesting finding was that cultures that regularly use hot/cold baths (like the Nordic, Scandanavian, Japanese) had the lowest number of COVID-19 deaths. Fevers are the body's response to viruses because the high body temperatures trigger the body's production of interferon. Studies have shown that hot baths (routinely sitting in a sauna or spa, followed by a period of cooldown, followed by more sauna/spa) cause the body to produce interferon.

I have never received a Covid vaccination and do not believe it is necessary. I have also never tested positive for the virus. I continue to follow my regular routine, which includes walking, taking daily vitamins and allergy medication during the spring season.
