I considered building a barn on my property earlier in the year. Two things stopped me. The cost of the barn would have been $50K. Then I would have increased my real estate taxes by probably $1000/year.

2022 is going to be about the economy stupid. Then about the out of control national crime wave

************

And foreign military threats. Flashpoints are popping up all over the place.

Next year is going to be an absolute mess.

I lived In Derry back in the early 90’s.

My property taxes far exceeded the property taxes and state income tax in MA (At least in WMASS). I liked living there—it was pretty rural back then. But the “no income tax” formula didn’t work for us. I know every person’s experience is different.

It’s just transitory. Trust us.

Well, it is for the governing elites. They get big salaries, cost of living adjustments, generous benefits, etc. Inflation is not a problem for THEM.

Today, we are simply GOING UP through to higher inflation levels.

Trump had the economy on a sound footing. Its all been undone in less than one year. Shame.

Eventually the system will right itself.

**************

The system will, but in the process countless individuals will be harmed by out-of-control inflation, especially retirees.

But the elites will sail through it as they usually do.

There’s a lot more correlation between biden and inflation than oil and globull warming. I know that for sure.

0.8% x 12 months = 9.6% Annualized Run Rate Inflation.

Folks, we are at 10%.

As an AEI economist wrote recently:

Insanity.

"...In April 2020, narrow money stock M1 [cash and checking accounts, CDB] was $4.77 trillion. In April 2021, it was $18.9 trillion, nearly a 300 percent increase. Six months after that, we have inflation pressure — who’d have guessed?..."

No telling how high he can make it with three more years. We may be able to beat the triple digit inflation of Venezuela.

Lets go Brandon!

One of the main reasons why governments changed the inflation formula to hide the real increases, other than for pure political cover, is because there are many government spending programs indexed to inflation, as well as indexed government pensions. The government knows it will make the deficit situation much worse if they adjusted these costs by the true inflation rate.

I am now 100% debt free for the first time in 31 years.

It's a great feeling, isn't it? God has blessed.

You probably remember Pamela Smart.
She is up for parole again. Looking to get out of prison.

Derry always had high property taxes.
One of the highest in the state if I recall correctly.
