“Listerine with essential oils”, while it does not have the Cetylpyridinium chloride, is specifically on the FLCCC preventive/early treatment protocol.

Listerine has thymol (similar to oil from the thyme plant), eucalyptol (extracted from eucalyptus), menthol (a minty oil, similar to extract from a mint leaf, & methyl salicylate (inspired by wintergreen).

Nobody said it cured Covid, but it might help when used in conjunction with other early treatment methods.

The Israeli’s have a nasal spray that they say is effective in treatment of Corona virus infections. Eyes, Nose, sinuses, mouth and lungs are the pathway of the virus.

The blood stream is not the best method of treatment, because of that pathway.

Good old fashioned Toddy has been used for colds for hundreds of years.

No, just a bad taste.

When we as toddlers were learning to brush our teeth, mouthwash Listerine was part of the routine. Same when I was teaching my toddler granddaughter, only her’s tasted like Watermelon. At 4 she now brushes every time she eats something. Has the hand washing down pat, course I buy her good smelling Goat Milk soap.

I actually have to support the use of mouthwash. When covid hit, I changed my routine to include Vit D, Zinc, tonic water with quinine and brown Listerine mouthwash and nasal spray.

My wife got Covid and brought it home. I never did develop any symptoms. Perhaps I was just lucky.

“dubious claim”
“The mouthwash strategy has been refuted by…”

Whoa!? What happened to “debunked”? I’m not sure “dubious” and “refuted” rise to the level of “debunked,” so maybe this isn’t a serious counter-claim.

This is like looking at who is on the Politburo podium to figure out what is really going on.

“ Is it any less effective than the clot shot? Can I get myocarditis from listerine?”

It’s the Hill. It’s Ron Johnson/ the only senator speaking out about the sudden insanity of the entire medical community.

And, no, no horrific side effects yet likely somewhat effective versus a virus.

If I develop a suspicious cough, sore throat etc, I get whiskey, boil up two shots, put it in a hot cup with a squeeze of lemon and some honey and that kills it. Tge relaxation and the nap help. Same concept as NyQuil who prob took the idea
from my Irish ancestors.

Yep absolutely right, it reduces viral load on mouth and nasal swabs same for nose. So no more positive tests no more rising cases every week or month of the year to continue their nonsense. Very false reporting on this

I have eased up in the nasal rinsing but I still do it when I “sense” a need. I would do the iodine again if really sick again but as our beloved CDC says, reinfection of a Covid-recovered patient remains RARE”.

I used 10% solution. 1/2 teaspoon in 8oz. distilled water (I warm the NeilMed with water in micro for 30 sec on high, then mix in iodine). Even diluted it fries, lol. When I lost my taste/smell and started to get it back, I didn’t like how the iodine flush messed it up again for a bit. Like a lot of things, you have to try it and see if it works for you. I think the logic of flushing EARLY is sound. Daily you get rid of too much healthy mucous (so I’ve since learned).

I believe I have read this before, using certain mouthwashes (Listerine is one) to help kill the reservoir of virus in your throat to prevent it from making it's way into your lungs?

Ofcourse, nothing is beneficial in fighting Covid except the non-effective, experimental and deadly shot, as many as it takes. I should know this.

Thanks for the reply - I was curious!

I use the nasal spray version when I come back in from being out in public ... use it a couple of times during that day & before bedtime. One half teaspoon in a 1 oz bottle of nasal saline spray is the concentration I use per an ENT article I read. I had to look up NeilMed ... thought it might be like a neti pot, but I see it’s not ... more of a wash though than the nasal spray I’m using.

Back in November, I likely had COVID (didn’t get tested). In addition to taking ivermectin, I also used the nasal spray/gargle to keep the viral load down in the event it was COVID. In 3 days, I was over all the symptoms except crushing fatigue (like nothing I’ve ever had before) & brain fog, which lasted for a total of 6 days & then vanished.

Since I haven’t gotten a blood test to see if it was indeed COVID, I still use the povidone iodine spray/gargle when I come in from being out in public. It’s so easy, not unpleasant, & I’d rather be safe than sorry. :-)

I’d have to dig to find it, but there were studies showing that COVID is fought in the body twice: in the nasal mucosa and in the lungs if it makes it that far. The implication was that successful warding of it in the nasal mucosa prevents lung infection.
