How about this gem from the guide: It is important to note that the category of ‘race’ has no scientific basis. Genetically and biologically Anglo Saxons, Asians, Africans, Latinos etc. etc. are identical. The idea of different races is a social construction.
No, race is a genetic fact that it programmed into our DNA. Race is a scientific fact. Or perhaps they would prefer we use the word "species" or "subspecies".
Saying that there is no such thing as "race" is the same as saying that there is no such thing as "sex".
1. Salvation
2. Army
When you were genuine
How about giving them the late Walter Williams’s absolution of White guilt pledge instead?
Yes
Shem
Ham
Japheph
They are sorry that this came out in the open.
Seems like there are two “Colonel” Munn’s: one female black who is on the SJWC and a white male who wrote the offending article.
It's an 11MB PDF produced by the Salvation Army titled, "Let's talk about... Racism."
There should be copies on the internet. I downloaded a copy.
I wonder if those soliciting donations for SA now do so by saying, "Hey whitey, here's your chance to compensate decent society for your racism! Pay up, bigot!"
Does the woke Salvation Army still provide aid to poor whites, or are they excluded because of their inferior skin color?
They pulled the original document off the web, but they have another version that is just as nasty:
The best thing for everyone at this point is to just take a time out; especially donors.
Donors should consider suspending contributions to SA for 24 months to give the organization time to think through whether they want to be a colorblind organization that helps everyone without attaching a stigma; or whether they fundamentally want to be an organization that in word and deed sends the message that some lives matter more than others.
That doesn't mean donors have to hoard their money; give it one of thousands of noncontroversial organizations with proven ability to act ethically.
and
How do they explain the “what is whiteness” section of their evil handbook?
I went to the SA website, and there was a bunch of talking points for the BLM, CRT there. So regardless of the exact verbiage, their website showed me who they are.

Okay, I see your point. Clicking “About us” from the index gets you this page:
https://www.salvationarmyusa.org/usn/about/
Below the mission statement are:
Our International Position Statement on Racism, and
Our commitment to the LGBTQ community
I don’t understand how an organization dedicated to saving souls through repentance can be so riveted on condemning racism. Neither do I see how an organization so dedicated can also be dedicated to “committing” itself to a supposed “LGBTQ community” whose name is merely an attempt to justify an identification with sin.
The texts below these topics are pretty generic and non-offensive. However, it seems that, instead of saving souls, the Salvation Army has taken on the stated mission of finding and curing whatever it is that they identify as “racism” while mainstreaming word concepts which whitewash perversion.
I remember those! That Mrs. Williams was a lucky woman. Walter said so on many an occasion when subbing for Rush.
Any organization, including the SA, that is going to use the racist term “whiteness” BS won’t get a penny from me.
The original document was signed by leaders from all over the country.
Additional documents like this are still on the web:
We are talking stage 4 leftist zombie cancer here...
IMHO, a marvelous BS coverup...
Where, in the bible, is the issue of white man’s racism against blacks discussed?
At my age, details sometimes escape me...
Agreed.
I'm glad you found that. Salvation Army's "apology" seems to be "We didn't say what we said. If you think we did, you're a racist."
That's not an apology.
There are other, better charities.
Thanks for that link. As others on this thread have said: The SA has issued one of those typical Leftist non-apology “apologies” here. Not one more cent from me to the SA.
Every area has wonderful local charities helping local people.
You can look the leaders in the eye while you shake their hand—and know who they are and where to find them.
