There is no guarantee Kyle Rittenhouse will ever win a dime in defamation lawsuits. Not to mention that it is simply wrong for these two ambulance chasers to take money they did nothing to deserve.

GoFundMe can go piss up a rope. Kyle has had a fundraising site set up for many months now.

https://support.freekyleusa.com

My first donation to him was near the end of Feb. this year which was a few days after it was set up.

Lin Wood is the FightBack Foundation. He founded it. He's the lead lawyer.

Peirce was acting as legal representative of the foundation that provided the money. His signature is on the check. The money will be returned to him and he will have to return it to Fightback Foundation.

Will the Fightback Foundation then be required to refund the money to the people who sent money for Rittenhouse's bail?

It’s murky as all get out. There are some big contributors, but also a lot like me (I contributed $250 to his bail). Not only that, but his mother started out with a Go Fund Me account that was later cancelled. Then his people set out on a major search for a means to facilitate crow sourced contributions. Right now it’s a screwed up cluster****. Stay tuned for the excitment.

I don't believe so, no.

See post #42. Kyle has had a rock solid donation site since February.

The article indicates half a million of the money to FightBack came from money Rittenhouse’s mother raised. I wonder whether that website is the mother’s fundraising site.

Which website are you talking about? FightBack.law or FreeKyleUSA?

Just checked... It’s her fundraising site. So, it looks like half a million of that money got mixed up with FightBack.

I don’t think so. This article is about money raised for Kyle’s bail not a defense fund. That was while Pierce was his lawyer who was a partner with and recommended by Wood. The money raised for bail, as the article states, was handled by Wood’s foundation FightBack.

That was all before the Wendy Rittenhouse created FreeKyleUSA. There is no connection between the half million Wendy Rittenhouse raised for the bail fund, held by FightBack, and FreeKyleUSA which was created after Pierce and Wood were kicked to the curb.

They each should get back what they put in. Remainder should go to Rittenhouses.

A second attorney who briefly worked on the case, L. Lin Wood, said the funds were provided by his FightBack Foundation and should be returned to the organization,

Oh I don't think so - if anything they should go back to the donors who gave the money for that purpose.

Not a problem. It was a real mess. It is a wonder KR got a fair trial and found a good lawyer. Two actually and they were great not just good IMO.
