“Guns are used for recreation— hunting, target practice, and competitions— and self-defense in the United States. Recent studies show that the sub-culture of recreational use is falling, while that of self-defense is on the rise.”

So what.

“Amid those trends, people are being killed in staggering numbers.”

So .. what? In practical terms, their solutions are always to disarm peaceable, decent people and make it easier for criminals to prey upon their victims.

To a leftist, they tend to automatically and reflexively side with criminals, nobody knows why, and at the same time hold that there is really no legitimate use of a firearm by an individual for self-defense. There are no “good guys” and “bad guys” at best in their world view. Or something like that. I try not to delve too much on their convoluted nonsense. Because that’s what it is - their policies only serve to create more crime, and yet they claim to lament all these people being killed?

What did you think was going to happen?

When your worldview is that schizophrenic, post-modern word salad relativistic pseudo-intellectual twaddle that passes for erudite discourse these days, I would suppose sorting through these issues would be a real problem. “Unencumbered by the thought process” as it were. Oh well.

“..one that makes us world leaders in gun ownership and violence”.

This is a complete misrepresentation. Once you get into places like Montana or the Dakotas or Maine, Vermont, and New Hampshire and other areas with high legal gun ownership, there is little or no violence. It is when one goes to places like Chicago, Los Angeles, New York City, and elsewhere where guns are banned along with other restrictive laws, this is where the violence is at appallingly high rates.

The 2Amd is absolute. RKBA "shall not be infringed." There are no exceptions or qualifications in that amendment. The only possible window for controls is the involuntary servitude clause in the 13th. People being incarcerated lose their rights. That means jail, prison, house arrest if from a conviction, adjudicated to a mental hospital, possibly parole.

:"Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction."

I don’t what they think about guns…they can cry about them all they want. We will not comply to your illegal laws. We have guns because of tyrants like you.

In a Communist system actual criminals, the ones we call criminals in a rational Republican democracy, are Social Allies because they help keep the middle class in line.

One of the first and nationally known advocates for the AWB was Don Davis, of Don’s Guns in Indy.

Several stores in the Indianapolis area and had corny ads with him always with “I don’t want to make a lot money, I just love to sell guns”

My brother and I stopped in his main store and had a long chat with him one day.

My brother asked him about the AWB.

He laughed his @ss off telling us he supported it because he had bought several shipping containers full of the stuff that was going to be banned if and when it ever passed and the prices would skyrocket before it went into effect

It’s always about the $$$

Did more people die in America from being shot, or drugs and alcohol?

We're thousands of times more likely to die in car wrecks caused by gun grabbing Karens too preoccupied texting their BFFs about the crazy sex they had the night before.

The two biggest mistakes in US history ever are:
1. Bring African slaves here
2. Letting women vote

I’m usually positive, but I believe demographics is destiny, and we are doomed. It’s just how long we can put it off.

Only Kimber I had was an overpriced jam-o-matic. Not to mention they’re from Yonkers. I’ve avoided them ever since.

They started out making .22 rifles in Oregon. I think they hit on the 1911 craze at the right time. I’d say they’re over-rated.
