I love the cops and firefighters in this city. All sane people do. I hope this ends well for everyone. I’m sure they don’t realize the danger they are putting this city in if they walk off the job. With violence brewing, they are walking right into the trap.

It isn’t ignorance it’s hubris. They think reality is what they say it is. They think right and just and good are expressed by their belief. That their belief trumps any other consideration. If one hundred people die in the following week due solely to their insane mandate they will write them off and feel as good and justified as ever. These people are unreachable now.
