actually, all supermarkets do the same thing: it’s called “house brands” ...

We avoid most edibles, including pet food, from Amazon. Can't trust the Chinese knock-offs. If Amazon has a ridiculously low price for a product--buyer beware.

I've been growing more wary of Amazon for the past couple of years or so. Ordered My Pillow Giza Dream Sheets (or so I thought) from Amazon about 2 years ago, for a price far below what was on the MyPillow website.

A very dirty package arrived a few WEEKS later - obviously from India. Opened the package - sheets were *obvious* cheap knock-offs. (I had another set of Giza Dream Sheets at home, so I could easily compare the two).

Complained mightily to Amazon about it, and scolded them for allowing crap like that on their site in the first place. Sounds like my complaint fell on deaf ears, as cheap knock-offs are still all over the site.

I did get my money back from Amazon, though. Shipped the counterfeit sheets back to a US Amazon address. Bought more sheets directly from MyPillow.com after that.
