Don’t know how you think it is “Divorced from money”....
MY PROPERTY tax bill still is about 50% school costs.
Due to owning more than one property at a time, I am paying MY 86th YEAR of PROPERTY taxes....and I am only 81.
Sure would like a 50% refund on all of it.
I mean that schooling gets its money “divorced” from the product it puts out, or even what product those paying want.
A friend of mine describes public schools as “failure factories“
