I think the media has a bit obsession with highlighting tragic stories of pretty young blonde white girls. Because I can’t think of any “human interest” murder media roll-out for any other type of person.

From what I understand they only made one travel blog and a few Tik Toc twitter posts. They were aspiring travel bloggers, not established ones.
He wasn't making fun of the actual crime, which by the time he did the routine was something everybody knew about. I had never seen this comedian before (he died from a stroke about 10 years ago), but I found him surprisingly funny.
