We should have been changing it...the Brits changed Indian culture, and that’s the reason India is a success story, sort of. India, with independence, went back to some of its bad old “native” ways (mostly involving bizarre things done to women, like setting fire to their saris if the dowry didn’t come through on time). However, as colonies go, they did well, because the British actually did try to change their culture.
The same is true of the Spanish colonies, which did try and in fact managed to change the cultures of the indigenous people, who in North America were busy killing each other in war games and taking multiple disposable wives, and in South America were ripping the hearts out of people on their pyramids and eating their body parts. The Spanish Christianized them and created a civilized land (disrupted by the arrival of Marxism in the early 20th c.).
One of the problems is that the US never really did try to change the culture, mostly because of the Islamic leanings of Bush and Obama, Bush because he was on a perpetual apology tour, and Obama because he was a closet Muslim supremacist. Our stupidest action was to enshrine Islam in the Iraqi constitution, and we have permitted the same thing everywhere.
I read a comment by a writer who had been in Afghanistan and he said he knew it was all over when he found out that we were basically funding “bachi bazi” (”dancing boys,” or boy prostitutes) for high ranking officials in the Afghan army. That practice, like widow-burning in India should have been stopped immediately.
The Taliban took over so easily not only because of our military abandonment, but because of our moral abandonment. It culminated under Biden, when the generals and State Dept. employees were waving their rainbow flags and completely ignoring what would actually be criminal violations, and that made us look ridiculous and toothless.
We had no choice. That's what the Muslims wanted. Otherwise, we would had to kill the patriarch and his first born in every family. We were not willing to be that ruthless.
Biden has the perfect new employees for the FBI and DEA. The Afghan terrorists brought into the US will be experts at false flag attacks and drug trafficking.

The Cave Dwelling Culture
It doesn’t matter how big or powerful you are. If you don’t have the will to fight, are risk adverse (afraid of any casualties, collateral damage, even the sensetivities of our enemies- let’s not kill them on Ramadan, there’s about to be elections in XYZ and we don’t want that in the news right before...), more into PC nation building than finding and purging an enemy threat... You’re not going to win. How long did it take to get OBL? There’s a reason! They had several opportunities to get him, SEVERAL!

Since then it’s only been one failure after the next, with our military often an order of magnitude more powerful than our enemies measured in terms of manpower, technology, and destructive capability, money invested in training, or shear quantity of equipment and its state.
Hamstrung by politicians that consider their own personal benefit in every decision (remember Obama leaving Iraq exactly one year before the elections?), vs. what would most likely deliver the best results. Led by narcissistic buerocrats that on the civilians political side often have near ZERO qualifications to lead anything defense related, and uniformed side leaders that make a sucking sound when around these politicians because these senior officers are more worried about that next higher position than anything else.
Washington DC today has more in common with Nero’s Rome than Washington’s or Jefferson’s republic. I’m sure the DOD will get a thorough political correct purge (anyone that attended 6 January, understands limited government, refuses vaccinations or masks...), they will push vaccines, even more racial/gender equality bullshit, in the years to come, buy a fleet of battery powered cars... but the era of winning wars has ended.
The US DoD is not unlike its Euro counterparts, a massive social program. You can have a gender reassignment, Lashinqua with her 3 children is taken care of, minorities or women that really aren’t competitive but attain levels of leadership beyond their skills or where others may have been more qualified but quotas basically gaurenteed them this opportunity.

At the most senior levels, our DOD is broke.

The Afghan refugees here will soon begin demanding WE change our culture to not offend theirs.
The refugee Somalis made the same demands.
Someone should have told them change or die. There is no place for Islamic cult, their evil, their violence, in today’s world. Trying to build a new country using it as the cultural foundation is a recipe for failure. A better course is renounce or die.
Their culture is wrong. Any culture that denigrates and abuses women and denies people equality and human rights, is wrong, and an offense to God. (The real God.)
China has it backwards, too.
What if Americans said we had founders, a Judeo-Christian nation which welcomed all religions and cultures to become part of the makeup here, and we guaranteed rights to all under the law.
And then minorities and immigrants from foreign cultures demanded their ways be not only allowed in the privacy of their own homes and religious gatherings but would replace the “toxic white privileged” and “racist” norms here?
With one tenet of Islam being to supplant and crush any other nation’s educational, religious and legal framework (with Shariah Law) and either have more babies and more immigrants than the original country or defeat them by attacks if necessary.
