The destruction of the logging industry by tree hugging hippies has allowed ladder fuel to be everywhere. Funny part is, the very loggers these people despise, do a better job at saving the trees than all of the seirra club types combined.

These anti-logging organizations need to be held financially responsible for the damage they've done.

Check out a YouTube channel by Brad Simmons (that's the channel name, as well). He is a realtor in Kentucky and showcases properties there.

My best friend’s nephew came to visit and I took him to dinner. He lives in Concord, CA. He was telling me and my son about the situation in CA. You can have a gun, but basically you really can’t use it.

There was a guy who shot a tweaker who was coming in through the window. Guy is up on murder charges.

Two tweakers were fighting with metal pipes in the street. Cops came. Private road. Neither were arrested because THEY DIDN’T PRESS CHARGES ON EACH OTHER and even though it was trespassing the system would have them back on the street by dinner.

He came up to Washington State to receive car parts you can’t order into California.

I used to live there. I don’t recognize the place.

“The air quality was at 178.”

Our 6-hour average is 153. But we are >600 miles east of those fires. I wonder what will happen to the “Professor” that started some of the fires? Probably a stern warning or even a firm slap on the wrist!

“Look at the Jan 6th people still in jail.”

Something’s very, very out of whack with that!

We went to Virginia a few years ago. 3 or 4? Who can remember?

Anyway, it was beautiful, and could have spent more time there. The Luray Caverns was a fun day.

A few days in a rustic cabin, more seafood... see more historic sites... Might have to make a plan to go back.

It’s not even “climate change” anymore.
Now it’s “climate emergency” or “climate crisis” or “climate catastrophe” or......

The Sierra Club owns the California Legislature so you can put this at their feet, good intentions never guarantee good results. In California you can go to jail for cleaning up your yard, enjoy the fire yall.

Michael Crichton has a good talk on complexity theory and the environment. It’s 52 minutes, but I truly enjoyed it.

Funny thing this...here in AZ they are cutting timber to beat hell and this year might be the wettest on record.

To save the woods, you need to manage it.

This years fire season was mostly brush and shrub burns and in hard to get to places. Sycamore Canyon..

Clean out the underbrush yourself? You Risk killing the endangered kangaroo rat, blunt-nosed leopard lizard and San Joaquin kit fox. You will face jail time.

But, someone on here told me the Republicans got wise in that area and flipped the seats back.

Ballot harvesting should be illegal - but where it is in place, it does work both ways.

## The citizens within these forests wait for government to do the cleaning. Perhaps citizens in the individual areas, on their on, should clean up the forest areas that are dangerously close to their homes and businesses.

Of course, the likely result of being responsible and taking care of the land near you is that you’ll be harassed and attacked in every way by the state.
