A fallacy is an argument with attractive but false premises and a weak conclusion. For example, “Fauci is honest, because Fauci is hated by “so-called” doctors who hate science.” Or, “Biden is the president, because Biden is hated by “so-called” citizens who doubt election integrity.
Trump is president and everyone knows it, especially the cheaters in the last election.
Well if they're auditing a sham election, maybe so.

They would be saying "Yes, audit the election, that will prove it was fair. We will even help pay for it.". But they are not.
They are as certain the election was stolen as we are, they just want to keep it that way and we don’t.

That's certainly so here in AZ. Our local paper seems to be entirely edited and written by radical Leftists who denounce the audit daily. Reminds me of a saying: If you don't read the news you're uninformed. If you do read it, you're misinformed. Today's AP should be renamed "All Propaganda."
I agree and have believed exactly the same thing.
My analogy is this:
Ricky is a C/D student in algebra class. Irving is class genius. The teacher has just given a midterm exam and both boys got a 95. The teacher is suspicious and talks to Ricky after class. “I am concerned you copied Irving’s test during the exam. I am going to do an audit of both tests to see if you got the same wrong answers to the same questions”.
Ricky has 2 responses:
1. Fine, go ahead. I worked really hard this time to study and I know I earned my grade. OR
2. You can’t do that! That’s taking away my rights and my democracy!
Which answer seems most likely to support Ricky cheated?
It can’t be fraudulent, because the audit is lead by someone who believes it to be fraudulent. Got it.
