It is probably a safe bet that Fine$tein (sp) and her ChiCom driver invested a lot of money over the decades based on insider knowledge as a member of Congress.

It would certainly be nice if they did that but I don’t like finger pointing at Rand Paul for a small investment by his wife while the big congressional players just laugh all the way to Wall Street.

I don't disagree, but they are two separate issues.
Not really knowledgeable on the subject, but it seems that when a congressperson is caught leaving something off their declarations they just say oops and amend it.. 0ne, twenty, fifty years later.
Yes, Congressmen in general get away with stuff we wouldn’t.

Definitely a smart move. Wish I’d had the money and foresight to do it as well.
One place I would have invested—my feelings about its politics aside—is Disney. When DisneyWorld and DisneyLand were closed, I bet the stock got a big boost when they re-opened after Covid. I think the FL one is open; not sure about DisneyLand.
