I doubt this will ever reach the deposition stage. If I’m wrong about that, I believe it is now standard practice to video all depositions to back-up the stenography. There are probably court procedural rules that would keep those videos from ever being seen publicly in the manner you describe.
Fortunately for the plaintiffs this case will be dismissed forthwith. Their criminal hack lawyer is 79 years old and they won’t be needing to replace him when nature takes its course

I do think it’s crazy to argue their costs and deprivation of family time when it was THEIR CHOICE to flee the state. It’s the equivalent of shooting someone with a gun and then suing the victim for getting in the path of the bullet.

Hey this gives me an idea.
People should file law suits against the runaway rats. Get court dates and have them not show. Win by no show or get them arrested for contempt when they arrive in the state.
With an Obama judge, I have no doubt at all that this excellent barrister and the fine legislators he represents will receive compensation for all their oppression.
Azzholes where so chipper and ecstatic with their 30 packs of beer and the taxpayer paid adventure to stick it to the governor and now are butt hurt and COVID infested.
Who is paying for this extended vacay and now for this legal counsel? Let us hope they start doing real financial injury to themselves real soon.
