In May 2016, Capehart became engaged to his boyfriend of over five years, Nick Schmit, who was the assistant chief of protocol at the State Department.
On January 7, 2017, Capehart and Schmit were married by former U.S. attorney general Eric Holder.

Al Jazeera is actually more objective than NBC CBS ABC CNN or especially MSNBC.

It’s like the devil calling God the evil one.
Projection on both ends: the network and the ‘contributor’.

It's amazing how s**t scared they are of Trump. You are right. There are two times when a clandestine enemy will betray his disguise:
1. When he thinks his side is close to winning and it's safe to be in the open; or
2. When defeat is inevitable and there is nothing left to lose.
The former is a proud and jubilant celebration, while the latter is a desperate flailing for a lucky punch. These people aren't happy and they aren't winning. They are afraid.

I’ve noticed over the past few years that, with the rapidly declining standards of journalism in the US, Al Jazeera is looking more and more objective, in a relative way.
