WTF? When did we sign such an external taxing authority? Talk about taxation without representation.

If we end up on this, it will be the first order of business for Trump in 2024 to exit.

The global elites consider the US constitution to be toilet paper and the masses to be cattle to be herded at will.

They are the enemies of individual liberty everywhere on the planet.

> Both China and India have reportedly given their blessing to the deal, eliminating the last bit of resistance from within the G-20. <

Now that’s funny right there. China especially will do nothing to harm their economic base. So their actual compliance with this scheme will be nil.

They will, however, generate hundreds of fake documents to “prove” otherwise.

Wow, the double-speak in Yellen’s statement is off the charts: It’s “self-defeating” to lower taxes? Why would 130 countries agree to a plan that supposedly will help America “win” against them? Ireland’s success contradicts every point Yellen makes. They should look out - Biden might nukem.

To clarify, this isn’t a global tax. It is setting a minimum tax rate so that companies can’t shop around for the lowest rates.

Currently Google and Apple move their tax liabilities to Ireland. So while they make their profits in the USA it’s the Irish government that gets the tax revenue.

Competition among countries, states, etc. is positive.

This attempts to eliminate competition.

You are flat out wrong, I’d gladly take a 15% tax in the USA for C or S corps. The USA has a graduated scale that starts at 21% and goes up from there. The dems want to go back 30+% rates. I’m looking at using my wife’s Irish dual citizenship to apply for perm res in the Republic it will be the last bastion of freedom in the Western world. Once again the Irish just like during the dark ages will save Western civilization.

Irish leadership remembers when they had unemployment several times that of the UK. By lowering tax rates, they saw an influx of businesses eager to manufacture and provide services to the EU. That’s why EU vaccines and microchips are likely to be made in Ireland.

” I’d gladly take a 15% tax in the USA for C or S corps.”

Wat makes you think 15% would ever happen?

Right, which leads me to ask this question: “Why would the Irish go along with a bill that seeks to lessen their appeal, and lower the income that they make from international corps? It’s basically FREE MONEY.”

>>You are flat out wrong, I’d gladly take a 15% tax in the USA for C or S corps.<<

I am (have) an S Corp - there is no “corporate tax” on an S Corp.

I think this sets the floor, not the ceiling so it would be of no help.

I do not want ANY global organization setting ANY rates on ANYTHING, especially taxes, in the USA. Even if it helps, which it does not.

You can give in to the one-worlders if you think it will help you personally. I would rather die.

Federal alphabet agencies and departments simply need to be abolished. They are absolutely worthless.

That’s OK - he thinks S Corps pay corporate tax.
